Delicious moussaka and lamb in a bag along with Lucerne beer. Beautiful location by the river. Service superb thanks to Claudio, Chris and the amazing staff in the kitchen making us this delicious meal. Great change from too much snitzel and perfect last meal in Lucerne. Enjoy!

Would never have found this place if it hadn't been for a cowboy wedding party we came to! It's not very fancy, but a down to earth great restaurant. Excellent food, excellent very friendly service and a fabulous atmosphere. We will come again.

It's not always easy to find a place to eat when you are hungry. It's best to be hungry at lunchtime (noon-2pm) when the restaurants offer their daily menu at a reasonable price. The service was friendly. The sun was shining. People were happy.

Was an outstanding experience. We had the five course meal with wine pairings. We ordered slightly different courses. But our favorite was one was a play on creamed spinach served in an egg. The beef carpaccio was not thin sliced and there was too much beef. The wine pairings were perfect and they were generous with the pours. We also really enjoyed the cheese course with the tawny port.Thank you so much for your outstanding review! We are delighted that you had an enjoyable evening at our restaurant. The restaurant is located above the casino and it is decorated with classic grandeur with high ceilings and chandeliers. We went without reservations and were the first guests for dinner. We were later told by the staff there that the building used to be a library. The menu was very interesting and the wines had good choices. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 mains and a bottle of French wine. The food is well plated and taste really fresh, delicious and definitely memorable (see the pictures). You have the feel that the chef takes pride in his creations. Extraordinarily good food.Other than what is on the chalkboard inside the restaurant, there is no menu or wine list. The four course fixed price menu is what they are serving that day. Our first course was a delectable mixture of seared tuna, zucchini, capers, olives, lettuce, radicchio and who knows what else. The second course was a lemon, burrata ravioli in a butter sauce that was delicate and delicious. Third came a steak and potatoes with small pieces of rosemary, chives, eggplant, roasted peppers, kohlrabi and more. The dish was outstanding. For dessert we were served a delightful passion fruit mousse accompanied by passion fruit. By in large, the offered wines were Italian and reasonably priced. The four course menu was CHF 75 per person. We sat outdoors on the patio, but there is indoor seating as well. Service was very good.
