Popped in on the off chance on a rainy Saturday night having heard mixed reviews. Were welcomed immediately and given a great not too noisy table in the window. Lovely atmosphere - casual but smart type bistro feel, modern and clean. Extensive authentic pasta menu which lived up to expectations and we are hard to please! - really appreciated the extra touches - big bowl of olives at no charge came with the drinks, water served in individual jugs with slice of lemon. Generous side salad (not the usual mean variety other restaurants serve). Crispy generous portion of garlic bread. Very reasonably priced too. We will return!

Limited seating. Belgium food. Sausages and mash PLUS Belgium beer. See my YouTube interview with Jane under Jilliana in Brighton. Music and singing in the basement down a metal spiral staircase. There used to be a cinema club on Wednesdayâs with food. Check if still going on. Excellent place. Highly recommended. Go, go, go!!

We had a fabulous evening at TheWitchez, the food was fantastic, we had a range of dietary considerations within our group which were well catered for, nothing was too much trouble. Even the dogs were well catered for. Everyone enjoyed every course/element of our meal. The service was brilliant, Maddie took the time to explain the menu, and how the individual dishes could be adapted to our requirements. The surroundings were so relaxed, it felt like we were have a lovely dinner at home. I cannot recommend TheWitchez enough, they are passionate about what they do, and genuinely care about their customers. A real gem. X

Have eaten here several times, and enjoyed all aspects. The restaurant is small and cosy, the staff friendly and attentive, and the food is special. The chef owner cooks well, and changes the menu regularly. Simple dishes cooked well, and nothing that is fussy or beyond the chef's ability - I wish more restaurants did that. The customers are regulars, and there is a pleasant atmosphere. The prices are reasonable, and the drinks menu is short and concise.

We went there for lunch, ordered two sandwiches, one of them was a pancetta sandwich and didn't have any pancetta in it. When we told the waiter he apologised and I explained what happened. Mistakes happen and we understand that, but we had to eat at different times because of that and I can't give them 5 stars. It wasn't the first time we had to send food back, either. Service is good.

We visited to look around the country club with a view of joining. Whilst there we booked a table for Sunday lunch. We visited for my sons birthday. Quite busy for a Tuesday night but the service was excellent. Food was very good particularly the pork belly. Will definitely be returning and have no hesitation in recommending for a great evening. Thank you.

booked a table for my boyfriends birthday after being recommended by different friends and tripadvisor and so pleased i did you are made to feel very welcome the staff are friendly and helpfull we had the meatballs and calamari and prawns and pork with potatoes all were very nice the bread with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar starter was really nice and fresh especially the brown bread my boyfriend always goes for white but even he liked this they also offer take away so will try this people were coming in not having booked and were seated no problem i thought the meal was great value for money overall very pleased
