Just wanted a decent meal for myself and the good lady who has a gluten allergy , a quick search on google of nearby gluten free restaurants came up with Sensi. A glance at the reviews and we said yes letâs go itâs local and they could accommodate are gluten free needs after a quick phone conversation.So glad we went the food was outstanding,from the staters, think we had grilled cheese and meatballs, the lady hadnât had meatballs in ages been gluten intolerant and she loved them , me too they were delicious. Canât remember what I had for mains but I know I had a empty plate at the end which means I throughly enjoyed it , the misses had a fish risotto, she couldnât finish it as she is not a big eater ,but again excellent, Onto the dessert both of us full but we shared a chocolate rum cake , ,,,,,,,on my the misses was in heaven , gluten free chocolate rum cake , gorgeousWhole meal was superb first class gluten free food , we will be back , in fact she has been back already with her girlfriends , you will be seeing me soon as well , Keep it up

Following a business meeting in the area I decided to book dinner for my clients. I am so pleased I chose The White Bear.There was a warm greeting the moment we entered the building and this hospitality extended through the entire evening.Itâs rare to find a venue which exceeds expectation and this certainly did.The atmosphere was just perfect.From the great food and service through the great range of beers , wines and a lovely log fire.My clients and I had a great evening and if I am ever in the area again I will definitely go back.Thanks to all the staff for the hard work and making us feel very much at home.Good afternoon, Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback. This retaurant has an extensive menu to cater for all tastes, attentive and efficient staff and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. My family eat here regularly and the food is of a consistently high standard. There are a range of menus - bar food, plus an extensive range of options for a more formal meal. Everything arrives quickly, pipng hot and well presented. The food is tasty and interesting. Love the steak, the confit duck and the mussels. The pistachio souffle is wonderful.The restaurant is sufficiently large to usually guarantee a seat, although it is worth booking at weekends. There is also a good seating area outside for when the sun shines. The restaurant is attached to an equally pleasant pub area, spacious and well decorated. I thoroughly recommend this place for a great evening out or a light lunch - for couples and families.Dear Rhian,Thank you very much for your kind words about your experiences at The Jolly Farmer. The food here is quite good and tasty, however, the cleanliness of the place leaves much to be desired. It started with the menus - they were sticky, filthy and covered with grease and, on the back, old food. The table had not been cleaned properly and was sticky. The cruet set was sticky... the table lamp on the window ledge behind the table had old food underneath it from careless wiping down of the table...None of this is acceptable in a restaurant, and if the eatinf areas are that bad, we wonder what the fodd prep and kitchen areas are like...Dear Guest,We are so sorry to hear that the cleanliness of the restaurant ruined your experience here. There is no excuse for our standards of hygeine to drop so low, and we can assure you that this is not usually a feature of our service and work at Jack and Alice. As you enter this restaurant, you are greeted with being outdoors as there are artificial trees and plants dotted around the entire restaurant area. Very pleasant feeling inside one feels one is sitting alfresco in the Med. Nicely decorated too with a subtle grey theme throughout.Food and service were excellent. As vegetarians we were pleased with the menu and the items we ordered were easy and satisfying on the palate. Would go back for sure. Little bit pricey but worth it.Parking can be an issue though and worth booking as it's a busy restaurant.

Every dish adds unexpected ingredients and presents itself in a unique style that makes the food in this gastro pub exceptional. The whole kitchen brigade are to be complemented.Coupled with a young service team that is both knowledgable and has personality, this is an excellent place to dine out.Ciara in particular is a great example of the wait staff. Unfaltering standards over several years is a compliment to Manager Wesley. Highly recommended by this experienced reviewer.

Family get together recently. Martin and Laura couldn't do enough for us as a group. The welcome was lovely, the food incredible - from a large group with most of the orders for steak we couldn't get over how each and every steak was cooked to perfection (from rare, rare to medium, medium rare, medium, well done). The rack of lamb was so tender. Sides complementary and wine flowing. Not one complaint :-) Cannot wait to return to this quirky, welcoming and excellent eatery. Thank you x

We came to this wonderful restaurant in May when we were celebrating our Ruby Wedding. Lovely and cosy just the two of us.. Denham village is the perfect setting for this Italian restaurant. ... it's charming and just a beautiful village.. time has not spoilt it .. just how it should be. Da Remo is just the same .. the minute you walk in .. you feel the charm and warmth of the place.. The food was delightful and so much choice. . The night we went was a Tuesday. .and it was a full house..Thank heaven's we had booked.The atmosphere was amazing everyone talking and laughing. . sharing stories catching up on what's been going on. All who work there are brilliant. . so friendly and helpful. .We shall definitely be coming back to Da Remo. . as we would like to try their Sunday lunch. Well done.
