Our hotel manager referred us to the Allegra as offering "the best food in Cranbrook." We did indeed have very good food, and excellent martinis. Its venue is unprepossessing--a storefront-like space in a small mall--but it aspires to a level of elegance beyond that, and is nicely decorated inside. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, eager to make the experience enjoyable. Menu is ambitious. Duck breast was delicious.

Absolutely loved this place. The sports memorabilia is some of the best and as fans of hockey night in Canada, Don Cherry's was a required stop. The food was fabulous, with a great menu and a lot of adult beverages to enjoy. You won't be disappointed.
