The Hotel Bel Mare is a very modest hotel, I would say two-star. Nothing changed from two years before, light bulbs burned out, curtains way too long so you step on them, etc. BUT the food is absolutely spectacular, totally unexpected because of the contrast. The young chef is extraordinarily talented with both conventional dishes but also with dishes combining ingredients I would never have thought of together and was extremely hesitant about. One bite and ... I simply was knocked off my socks! As long as this chef is at the Bel Mare a meal there is an absolute must.I travel far and often, and am a very liberal eater in that I try anything and eat most everything. This was surely one of the very top eating experiences of my life!

"Ta Kladia" is on the beach side in Plage Pero. It is a motel but we did not use it for accommodation. As we were staying nearby - I went most mornings to receive my emails (free) whilst I drank coffee! Sat at the seaside before and after a swims. We ate two evening meals and a lunch in the restaurant. The food and wine were good;proper Corsican. It is not a cheap restaurant. Whilst we were there the menu never altered. I am writing because I enjoyed the food and meeting the friendly family that runs "Ta Kladia". Marie

Went there on a Friday evening in September. The staff served us in an obligatory way, without paying much attention. The food was below average, again without any effort to make it more than mediocre. Prices are above average though. All in all their neighbours of U Rasaghiu are a much better choice. The view on the port is the same.

Visited this place twice with a bunch of friends. Everything we tried was very good. They had different specials every day. I had tuna salad and duck. It was well prepared and very tasty. Wine (both red and white) was very good and reasonably priced. Overall, strongly recommend this place.

The Continental Restaurant is located at the entrance to Cargese , arriving the creeks of Piana, near the city center and hiking trails. Our 2 star hotel offers comfortable and spacious rooms, balconies with views of the beach of Pero and the peninsula of
I was in Cargese for almost 2 weeks, had dinner here with various groups at least 4 times... Food is great and special - "classic" dishes that come with a twist either through a local product here (chestnut fritters) or some fancy technique there (salted caramel with scallops, basil foam with pasta). Interesting and exciting (though a bit on the pricey side).Dessert selection is also great. Try the chocolate cake.

U'Rasaghiu , port restaurant , simple and elegant but with products chosen just for you .... Our kitchen is working continuously with fresh produce classic and newer recipes to satisfy every desire .... Even if it takes a little more than you expect you w
nice restaurant with typical corsican meals proposed for a reasonable price. Seafood, although some of them might be fresh frozen, is tastefully prepared and may be ordered in a 24⬠menu with starter , main and desert.

Corsican traditional cuisine and Mediterranean cuisine. Local and seasonal products. Open all year. Panoramic terrace with sea view on the Gulf of Pero.
We arrived on the 3rd of october, we were well received by the staff, we asked for a fridge and it was immediately sent to our room. The breakfast was poor, but the location was just beside the Casino supermarket so we could find whatever we want.A parking is available and for free, and the vue was amazing, we did not go out one night so we opened a bottle of wine and bought the best corsican cheese and the tastiest ham and pate and we ate on the terrasse with the vue of the bay, unforgettable.it is advisable to rent a car at Ajaccio airport if not reserved before arrival.

How often have you been to a seafood restaurant which is a few feet away from the Mediterannean Sea separating you from it by a few feet of white sand? If you answer with a jaded "often", then you are either extremely well traveled or a snob. However, putting that aside, this dining spot is special as the island of Corsica is special. Two of us had swordfish and two had a grilled local fish cooked whole. The swordfish was perfectly prepared and moist (just a few seconds of overlooking it will dry out the entire portion), and the grilled fish was equally perfectly prepared. Both were served with vegetables and your choice of French fries or rice. It was an evening of fine dining. Add to the quality of the food, the atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxed and the service was first class.

This place is just amazing. Tables with chairs or long chairs on the shadow with a stunning sea view. The atmosphere is so cool.Perfect for any moment of the day. Very good breakfast : coffee/ hot chocolate, ''tartines'' (toasted French baguette slice), butter and jam and orange juice for approx. 6 euros per head.A must stop if you pass by Cargese !!
