First of all, I must say this is a single visit review. Nevertheless, there are a few things I can say about this surprising portuguese restaurant : tipical, criative menu and wine list; delicious caipirinhas ; fantastic portuguese "alheiras", and mouth watering duck. Worths another visit. Don't miss the "alheiras" ( deep fried portuguese.... hahhh.... wurst, made of small pieces of chicken and pork, mashed up with bread and lots of garlic ). We came for lunch. Ordered sausage Marcos Gouveia and a classic White sausage. Both good in preparation as Well as flavour/taste. Good environmentaland adequate service. Bad and disappointed was the dessert: the famous german apple pie - strudel - was a disaster. Awfull in taste with absolutely no crispy. Maybe they forgot to bake the pie???Olá Edu, Agradecemos seus elogios, mas não entendemos o que aconteceu com o Strudel, pois normalmente vai sempre a mesa muito crocante e é sempre muito elogiado por todos. O que aconselhamos a todos que quando tiver um problema no restaurante, chamar imediatamente um responsável para que o problema seja resolvido na hora. Very nice place, excellent music, good service. I went with my wife on her birthday and ordered the taste menu. There were good surprises like the sausage sauce, the risotto and the ravioli but some others were not great. They lack taste and presentation lacked creativity. Portions are generous and wine menu is fine, they made their own pasta and you can see they put a lot of effort. Ingredients are fresh and nothing taste artificial, however some dishes were just dull.This was my first option in my first trip to Campos do Jordao, it is a good option but not remarkable

Service is great, location is good but food is average! Price is good.We ordered the fondue sequence (cheese, meat and chocolate), cheese fondue was mixed with something that for sure is not cheese, chocolate fondue was too sweet and sauces for the meat fondue were lacking inspiration and taste.Unfortunately not going back there, food has to improve to the same level of service.

We stood 4 days in Campos do Jordao and went twice to Coquelicot. The first one was at lunch - fair price, good food - chicken and parmeggiana. The second, at dinner, we had crepes and omelete - and this time was a bit disappointing.

When we come to Campos do Jordão it is very difficult not going to Confraria. Excellent and well balanced menu, very well chosen wine list, without overpricing it, and as usual, the care and dedication from the waiters and the Restauranteur Fernando. He is really looking for improvement in the meal, the ambient, and the overall service when he comes to your table. The restaurant is very diligent in coping with the kids needs. It is not cheap but every coin worths. Always sophisticated and updated. Congratulation for keeping the good standard for so many years!

This hidden gem re-opened only a few months ago, and it is a place very worthwhile going to. Chef Ajax Cavenaghi creates wonderful dishes - we had a Filet mignon with a Grana Padano sauce, accompanied by home made Gnocchi filled with Pinhao, specialty of Campos do Jordao. The dessert was a real delight as well. We were extremely well served by David, the Maître, and Emerson, the Sommelier. Chef Ajax also came around to explain the dishes, and after the meal, to see whether we had any comments. Highly recommended, this hidden treasure, off the beaten track. Very nice and warm environment. The atmosphere is great and also the decoration. You can sit indoors ou outdoors. The chef made our grana Padano pasta sauce in front of us! A must go restaurant! Itâs necessary a reservation . They donât allow people without a previous reservation. I do recommend Hello,We were very happy with your testimony.Come more often!Big hug
