We are very disappointed with this restaurant althought the personnel was very attentive and amable. We ordered pizza and it was a frozen pizza and expensive for the quality. We also orderedd a chicken salad with honey and mustard dressing but unfortunately it only tasted of mustard and the chicken was frozen.

Was staying down the promenade at Le Meridien Ra Beach and wanted to have something local for lunch. Came here and had a couple of tapas and some brothy rice with seafood. Was awesome. We speak limited Spanish, but - perhaps a rarety in Spain, unfortunately - were helped out by the staff with what and how to order, and overall with having a lovely meal. Great spot, and for sure authentically local. Give it a try!

My husband and I were driving from Barcelona to Tortosa in July and happened upon this marvelous little restaurant overlooking the sea. At the owner's recommendation we had a huge and succulent lobster, accompanied by a delicious chilled white wine, that became the best meal of our trip. We sat on the porch and enjoyed perfect service in a convivial atmosphere on the perfect July day. This is the sort of memory that makes travel so extraordinary. I highly recommend that anyone on this highway stop and find this remarkable spot!

Second time we eat there! Really good predominantly sea food. We had fideua de marisco, paella melosa de marisco (amazing seafood palla type of stew), fish, mussels, salad, pan con tomate, chiperones, calamares andaluza and kids menu. Everything was absolutely perfect! Actually we returned as we had most probably one of the best paella and fideua there. We were in Barcelona but 35 min drive is totally worth it. We always eat at the terrace but inside looked good too. Service was perfect too. Will return.We are so happy that you enjoy our paella and our fideua and our seafood!! We are very glad that you return and that you feel very good in our restaurant. Thanks for everything and you must to think our house is your house too!!

We visited this restaurant twice in the same week. We never reserved a table and always arrived just after they opened in the evening for dinner.The food is absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend this place. We even spoke with the chef/owner who was pleased that we had enjoyed his food.Very, very good - an absolute must if you are staying in Calafell.

Dined at La Locanda with friends for four consecutive nights. Food was fabulous. Chef/Owner is from Italy. Pear salad, grilled beef with arugula and Parmesan, mussels and fresh pastas. Engaging wait staff. Be sure to ask for Roberto. He will provide in-depth descriptions of each menu item and tell you from where the ingredients originate. Desserts are delicious -- tiramisu and Roberto's world-famous Apple cake at the top of the list.

The restarant is located on the boardwalk of Calafell. So there is always somethingbto watch. The staff speaks English and is efficient. The starters are meant to share. We made the mistake to choose each a starter and a main course. This was way to much. The starters are nice and inexpensive. The burgers have several toppings you can pick. The burger itself was a bit disappointing. It was not seasoned and had a lack of flavor. However we had a great time, and that is the meaning of a night out. If you do not want to have to wait in line make sure to be there at 8pm sharp.

I have visited twice; first time I was seated indoors(it´s cozy inside), second time outdoors(the restaurant is situated in front of a beach, it´s just sunny and lovely). The menu offers a wide variety of burgers but they also serve nachos, sandwiches and salads. I had the Hollywood burger(10,50â¬) with homemade fries, very tasty. ¨Menú del dÃa¨ was at 11,50⬠which included nachos, burger with fries and a soft drink or beer. The staff was very kind.The one suggestion I would make is to use maybe another type of oil to fry the french fries as the current one was a little intense.
