This establishment has recently changed owner and undergone significant transformations. The new decoration is tasteful and sober, the food is inventive and original, the presentation is very good, the wines are delicious and the staff friendly and efficient. A shady terrace invites you to enjoy an outdoor meal if you feel like it. La Pause is certainly an address to remember.

We really enjoyed the visit to this restaurant. Very busy, on a Saturday night the owner went out of his way to be helpful and friendly, allowing us to eat with our small dog in the courtyard restaurant. The menu was excellent, and we chose to eat a la carte, having both main and desert. Prices reasonable for France and the quality of the food excellent. We would definitely consider staying at the hotel as well, in the future, as the position is well placed.

I ordered a burger with St Marcellin cheese. I mentioned carefully that I didn't want raw red onions in my burger, but this one didn't add any. There was normally a shallot chutney.Surprise! When they served it, there were no shallots but some red onions inside! Thanks for the breath!They asked how they could make for the inconvenience. They offered me a dessert.I choose a cup with a banana and ice-cream.The banana was missing!I didn't even mention it. There are no more comments.Sorry about your experience. I am not too sure what happened there but it must have been a misunderstanding about the onions. As for the dessert, our desserts are very popular but I am sorry we forgot the banana in this instance.

Nous avons choisi le menu à 19,50 â¬, cher pour ce qui nous a été proposé qui était assez quelconque. La formule du jour à 13,50 ⬠est sans doute plus intéressante (mais avec quels produits ?)...Service agréable et rapide. Un bon point pour le vinho verde à 2,50 ⬠le verre, excellent.

We eat here both at lunch and at dinner. If you come for lunch, try to get there early: there's a great buffet which becomes void very quickly. In the evening the restaurant in calmer, you will enjoy original dishes created by the chef. Finally something different in the boring culinary french landscape. Don't forget to ask for cheese: great choice of excellent spacialties.

Staff is friendly, helpful and speaks English very well. The beer selection is limited but has a good variety to chose from. The pizza is amazing. The crust is cooked perfectly with just a slight browning of the crust. Had the Canattai pizza which has artichoke, chorizo, ham, fresh mozzarella and a red sauce. The flavors combine so well and the freshness of the ingredients is wonderful.Great little place to try if you are in the area. Little out of the way but worth the trip.

We arrived early and were seated right away. The waiter brought out a menu for wine and beer but disappeared for 15 minutes or so. When we finally got our drinks the wait was lost again. We were able to order our food about 50 minutes after we arrived and waited at least another 30 minutes for the food to be served. I had the seafood platter which was 3 shrimp, w scallops, 2 small pieces of fish and salad. For the price and portion size, I left very hungry and disappointed.Think the staff could have been more attentive and the portion size a little larger. Not a place I plan to return to.
