Located within the luxury Dixie Dean Hotel. The 160-cover restaurant and bar â named âNo 9â after the number worn by Dixie Dean will showcase a âmodern boutique style hotelâ inspired by the history of the Grade-II listed gothic Jerome & Carlisle building.
Wonderful afternoon tea for my mother in laws birthday. Family ranged from 12-80+ and everybody enjoyed the experience. The food was excellent with a lovely âEvertonâ twist, fantastic generous portions too. Service was really good, and very friendly special thanks to Michael D. We will definitely be back.

Coming home from work I usually pass this place so I thought why not give it a try, I ordered a bacon chicken burger and piri piri chips. I got home it was still pretty hot which is always good and it actually tasted pretty good! but I did ask for no tomato's which were still put on. The burger was fresh because I watched them cook the chicken! all in all its a pretty good place for a quick bite to eat! The price is the same as any takeaway which is understandable and the guys in there seem friendly enough.

I visited last night with three friends for two birthday celebrations. It was my friends first time here. I was lucky enough to have visited two years ago and for so long have been looking forward to returning as it had been so good. I didnât think it was possible but the experience was even better. I think it was overall the best food and service I have ever had. Everything was perfect. Staff are warm and friendly and while the food is exceptional the restaurant is not âstuffyâ and you feel relaxed and comfortable. Lovely to sit in the bar before dinner and start with snacks and champagne. Then to the kitchen for more snacks and then seated for the most beautiful and tasty food. Excellent wine pairing and brilliant service. The staff work so hard. We all loved the cheese room and cocktails after. Worth every penny was a fantastic night thank you for looking after us so well. We all loved it and will be dreaming of the amazing dishes until we visit again.

It was better than average, but i did not want to rate it very good. Service was excellent, price of the meal was brilliant. Alcohol VERY EXPENSIVE. food was fresh, but my mouth felt as it had too much salt in. Missing that killer ingredient to make it a wow resteraunt. I would go back, and I would recommend this to place to anyone. Shame they don't do home made chips. I did ask but they said no.

My husband and I have been here quite regularly since we moved around the corner. Every time the staff have been lovely and very attentive. We have been here for just drinks and and for food. The cauliflower is possibly the best dish I have ever had, gives Maray on Bold Street a run for it's money! The roast dinners are something special too. Must go on one of the nights they have live music next!
