A really cozy and beautiful restaurant with mediterranean tuscany like furniture, and with an amusing menu, full with innovative, modern and delicious food. You cannot find an other restaurant nearby (within 30 km) on this high level, definitely worth going to Bogacs just because of it!//Nagyon hangulatos étterem csodaszép toszkán berendezéssel, és lenyÅgözÅen modern és merész menüsorral. Nincs hasonlóan magas szintű hely a környéken, egyértelműen megéri Bogácsra utazni csak emiatt!

We had lunch with daughter, son in law, granddaughters and husband and I. The food was simply excellent and the service outstanding. They couldn't do enough for us and particularly the grandchildren. Anything we asked was possible. The meals were superb and the location in the castle was just magnificent. Not too pricey either and especially for the prime location.Highly highly recommend a visit!!!

We ate here last night. Every where else was booked and another restaurant gave us the recommendation. They were right, good traditional Hungarian food at a great price. We ate for 40$ US, two drinks, mineral water, two soups, two salads, one entry and dessert. The wild boar with purple potato gnocchi and red cabbage, our main, was fabulous and plenty for two. The pickles side salad also stood out as did the venison goulash (which is more like soup). They had my favorite dessert panna cotta with fresh raspberries. It was super busy and the waiter was working hard but the service was good. Then add the people watching and live music sitting outside looking at the Dobo square, a perfect vacation moment.

Had a coffee and dessert on the terrace. Service is fast and helpful if you have any questions or special requests. On previous visits, the food was always visually outstanding. The cheesecake I got was on a stone slab. Only downside to this is that it was impossible to scrape off the berry jam. Also, the English menu is broken, with literally dozens of errors. Someone with a strong grasp of English should definitely fix all the mistakes. Other than that, I love this restaurant and look forward to visiting again next time I travel to Eger.
