Nice small restaurant in the middle of town. Friendly staff. A smallish menu with nice meals. Sometimes they have specials (such as erwtensoep with bread and speck) which are good deals.They have a few good beers on tap and overall it is a good dining experience. would recommend it if you're in town.

Gesprekken met collega's gevoerd in het rustige gedeelte. Toch nog rumoerig helaas. Heerlijke lunch, moest er echter 2x om vragen en het duurde een half uur, diverse anderen gingen, ondanks later besteld, steeds voor. Drankjes moesten we steeds zelf gaan bestellen, ze vergaten deze/onze hoek steeds.....Bestellingen werden dan wel weer vriendelijk geserveerd. We gaan in de herkansing .....

Metropole is a restaurant that serves simple but honest food. The employ several people with disabilities, which I believe is a big plus, since these people hardly get an opportunity to work in the real world.Taken that into account it is a very good restaurant to enjoy an honest meal.

Stumbled upon this place, good look about it, friendly staff, english is not all that good, mix up with our order i.e. we ordered the food from one young man, waited, then another waiter came along and took the order again. Apart from this the food was very good, wine too, service prompt and friendly and a fraction of the cost of 'Solo' the Michelin Star restaurant across the square (Also, unlike Solo, we felt fed after our meal). Don't misunderstand both places were very enjoyable.

Absolutely loved this restaurant, from the minute we walked in we were treated like royalty. Amazing staff, you can really see they take their job seriously and are more than happy to help translate the menu. The food was out of this world, the best muscles and prawns I've ever had! This is in a great location in the town center in the square and the place itself is nice and clean and tidy.I would defiantly return to this restaurant.

Perfect setting for summer dining, this room has lovely views over the river with a deck for outdoor use when the weather is good. All the dishes chosen by our group looked and tasted wonderful, especially the Tuna starter and the Cod main course which were beautifully cooked and presented.Service is both friendly and prompt and the staff in general are an asset to the business particularly in the care they took to explain the dishes also in English. Price/quality ratio was very good. A lovely spot for dinner....would highly recommend.

We were there with friends one of the Friday meetings.It is located on the market square, between the train station and the little harbour. And there is a museum right opposite the restaurant. It was easy to choose from the lunch menu, service was quick and friendly. The prices are affordable. In short, all you expect from a restaurant.

The hotel is very nice. Small but comfortable rooms with good size windows to open to get fresh air. The bed is comfortable and the bathrooms clean. The service is very nice and of course the location is great being right downtown The restaurant is very good. Beautiful space and the food is very good!
