We were referred to this restaurant by the owner of Kasteel Ophemert, where we were staying that evening. This restaurant is less than one year old, but the food was outstanding. Our appetizers were gazpacho and Caesar salad. The entrees we selected were cod and Coq chicken. Both were cooked in a mixture of mushrooms, potatoes, and green beans. My wife chose from the three-course fixed price menu, so in addition to her Gazpacho and cod, she had a strawberry sauvignon custard-type dessert. Service was excellent. If you have a car or bicycle to get here, I would definitely recommend doing so.

This restaurant was a lovely surprise, next to the ferry at Beusichem. The food was good, modern Dutch, & the staff very friendly. The view is not great but you can watch the ferry come & go from the tables at the front. Obviously a popular sunny day destination for cyclists & motor bikers alike.

De Zoelensche Brug is the right place for a great food experience. It is located in a beautiful area; the Betuwe with lots of fruit trees, along the river. The terras is really nice. We experienced the 6 course chef's tasting menu. I loved every one of them! They look like paintings and tast beautiful. The restaurant has a lot of separate rooms, so you can also have a private party. The owners, Jeffrey and Cindy, are a really nice young couple with great ideas. So they would like to start a beer brewery in the Herberg De Zoelensche Brug as well. Congratulations with your new restaurant! It is a pleasure to be there.

The Restaurant Klooster offer great dishes. They are prepared with the utmost effort. Service is friendly and attentive. The wines could have been a bit more expressive to my taste however overall it offers a great getaway from your daily business. Really worth the visit

Wij hebben enorm genoten van de koffie met zelf gebakken TAART. Taart met een hoofdletter dus. De boerderij winkel is rijk gesorteerd aan regioproducten. Ook een prima plek voor de lunch

Great choice on beer but wine menu is limited.simple but taste soup presented in an uncomfortable glass pot.bread is delicious and robust.service very friendly but when its crowded it becomes a bit panic.

We had a delicious dinner at Maxima with good wines. It is a very nice place with great service from the owners (cook and host) and their daughter. When the weather is nice you can have a table on the outside patio, also great for small groups. We heard about this place some time ago but struggled to book a table because they are hard to find on the internet. Hope this review helps. Their level of cooking and service deserves more attention. A welcome new discovery in the greater Buren area while many restaurants there struggle to keep their level of cooking up.Try Maximaal and you will not be disappointed.

This pancake restaurant only serves pancakes but the restaurant serves many many different pancakes. Location is good, service is good, but the pancakes are average. One of us was having a pizza type of pancake and found it disappointing. I had a (very traditional) bacon & apple pancake that was simply too thick and probably therefore slightly under-cooked and falling apart. Unlikely to try this place again.

Ate here with a couple of business friends. De Prins is located nicely in an authentic building in the small town. Staff was friendly and service efficient. I found the menu rather limited and the food average. Would not necessarily return but it was okay for the occasion.
