I wish it was closer to my house... but that again makes it even more special, saved for very special occasions like our 1st year wedding anniversary. The decoration and ambiance is amazing and cries out loud that the owner has personally supervised every single detail of the whole project. Short but exquisite menu options and vast options of wines for all sorts of "wallets." Every single detail of this place is unque...even the sound system and the speakers flooding the hall with jazz tunes that perfectly match the scenery. Fine cafe in front of the beach. Very calm and pleasant. They make organic own cereal bars.Coffee was good and the service excellent.

When ordering from home, as is standard practice in the region, no receipt is sent with the order. The printed order itself is taped over everything but ... no receipt. When I asked the delivery boy about it, he played dumb and said ..."This is it" and "that's all we get". When I called at Fay's Grill, Fay herself, who took the order in the first place, answered again. Her answers prompted me to convey my experience... not so much because of the lack of the receipt but because of her trying to cover it up in the worst way possible... She gave me the classic, all-around answer: "The delivery boy must have forgotten it in the store". Adding insult to "injury" to a NEW customer. After me not going for this and pressing on for an answer, she hit me with "I always issue the receipts" and when prompted about where is my â¬20 receipt, she said that it must have been misplaced. When I told her, angrily, this is the first and last time she does this to me and that I am not obliged to pay whenever this happens, she said with meaning "YOU are the one calling here". Instead of giving out an apology and simply promising this won't ever happen again in the future....Not knowing me, not knowing who might be on the other end of the line....Tax evader to the core.... The food was OK for us but I did not enjoy it... It doesn't matter to me. When the manager thinks so lowly of his customers and has the nerve to tell them so over the phone, the food takes second place.
