I stopped in for lunch one day based on other Trip Advisor reviews. Not normally something I would do--I didn't travel to Japan to eat American food but what an interesting place! Loads of memorabilia, signs and artefacts from days gone by. It is Japanese-style, take off your shoes and takes a seat on the cushions on the floor. Burgers are home-made as you order them--not pre-packed or pre-formed--beef / pork mixture. The food was good and the service friendly. My wife and I were looking for a quick dinner and 38K was just what we were looking for!! We had a couple of tasty pizzas and a couple of drinks. The price was good, the atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were lovely - highly recommend

This was our second visit to this restaurant. The first time was April 2012. As the memorial tasty of Japanese omelet rice from 2012 trip, L'hirondelle was put in our group plan. And we experienced the same taste we had 2 years ago. This is one of recommended restaurants in Kawaguchiko. It's only 500m from Kawaguchiko Station which is very easy to walk there.
