Fresh food at its best. Their salads and desserts are all house-made. Never a disappointment... try the Fields sandwich and the frogeye salad. Very nice lunch on a nice day. Try a salad and soup on a cool or downright cold day.

A popular lunch spot with lots of regulars. No matter, you'll get a warm welcome and sandwich suggestions. Hard to beat --even in Chicago -- the is combo that features tasty Italian Beef paired with spicy Italian sausage and spicy peoppers, "Gravy for sipping omes on the side. Also fine is the cold-cut Gandolfini with turkey, coppola ham and provolone cheese.

While traveling I-80, my husband and I stopped for lunch. We were very warmly greeted and asked our preference for table or booth. Drinks came quickly, followed by our sandwich. Refills of water and our bill came without prompting. Kudos to the super nice waitress, and the hostess!!! Much appreciated! Good value for a nice meal with friendly service.
