Nice Deli type eatery, food takes a bit as it is very busy with all ages of people. The food is worth the wait, go in hungry. They serve all types of sandos both hot and cold and have a selection of salads, chips, large selection of beer and wine. Staff is very friendly and Mommy T will check you out with her bubbly personality.

No question that Mr. Pickle's Sandwich Shop knows sandwiches and knows them well. Lots of choices with fillings, breads, cheeses, add ons.....almost too many options as if that could ever be a problem. Fountain drinks and no liquor license.Small counter for ordering and tiny indoor and outdoor dining areas so there is a definite vibe to grab and go. Quick service if you have decided what you want out of there elaborate and extensive menu board. Somewhat confusing and very little window of time to make any kind of a meaningful decision. Definitely not a place for first time customers so a return visit will likely be a better experience. Not sure we're going to make it back after this experience. Prices are quite high for the quality delivered.

My family, friends and I always enjoy eating here. They offer great sandwiches, salads and soups with fast and friendly service. Their ingredients are always fresh and the food is nicely prepared. Vegetarian and vegan options are available. On this most recent visit three of us had the Cilantro Chicken Salad with chipotle ranch dressing. It was exactly what we wanted. The chicken was very nicely flavored. Just the right amount, too. We will return!

Lincoln Market & Deli

SLO seems to be a town where the sandwich competition is heating up. This is probably due to the plethora of college kids, or the maybe due to the fact that there are tons of Mom & Pop shops because people disdain chains and some fast food (certainly the city frowns upon drive-throughs....). This is one of those sandwich joints in competition with the rest, and I think they all strive to top the other. You can order one of their signature sandwiches, or you can build your own. Ordering is by convenient paper form, and service seems to be very fast. There is a very large cooler of different kinds of beers, local and otherwise, along with all other sorts of non-alcoholic beverages. Part of this shop is market, so there are shelves well stocked with other snacks and sundries. Ample seating exists inside and out, but parking might prove challenging at times (where in SLO isn't it a challenge?)The service is great, and there is a beautiful blond that works there, with a cute low voice, who is a quintessential California Girl. Her and the sandwiches are both worth a look!

Had dinner here with some business colleagues. The Jalapeño bottle cap appetizers are good if you like a little spice. They are fried jalapeños and are addicting. Had the Jalapeño Burger and it was good. They have sandwiches, burgers, wraps and salads so the variety is good for people of different food preferences. If the Raiders are playing on Sunday or Monday night expect it to be busy. The environment is fun and with the giant screen TV in the main bar-dining area the fans collect there.
