It's not much to look at from the outside and they could definitely use some more space but this place is great. The onion burgers might not be super filling but they are tasty and something unique. This and Gene's are the go to icons in Anderson that you should go to if you're in the area.

In the drive home in a business trip from Indy, we stopped at Panera. Probably my favorite place to stop while traveling. In my opinion the best 'fast food' available. The bread is always fresh, good and there are many healthy alternatives. My only complaint is Panera's tendency to miss items in an order. This didn't happen today but on larger orders, they tend to miss something....so make sure you check before you leave.

For some reason, my hubby doesn't like Penn Station, but I love their subs! So, when I am dining alone and there is a Penn Station around I'm a happy camper. Love the fresh bread and meat choices. My favorite is the Italian sub. Carried out so didn't eat in, but there were a few people also grabbing a late dinner the night I went. The guys working last Friday night were friendly teenagers. The tables appeared to be clean as well as the floor. I did notice that the paper towels were overflowing in the ladie's restroom. But probably the guys hadn't had time to empty it if they had been busy all evening. Would definitely stop here again when I'm in the area
