Four of us eat at Barrioâs after reading wonderful reviews on line. Before ordering we were served a delicious Cuban bread. I ordered the red snapper blackened (medium), plantains, black beans and brown rice and a house salad. Everything was wonderful. Likewise, two in our party ordered shrimp dinners (shrimp scampi and shrimp creole). Again both dinners were delicious. The forth person in our party was equally impressed with his blacked red snapper. Our waiter âPedroâ was excellent! He made excellent suggestions and was very attentive. We will definitely return!!!!

Iâve been to A touch of Cuba 3 times and I absolutely love it. The customer service, the presentation and the food is excellent. Itâs small and cozy. I love the decor. The breakfast menu has a lot to choose from and the mimosas are YUMMY! The rest of the menu is authentic Cuban, the churrasco fajita is amazing, the rabo encendido is too, there are so many delicious plates itâs tough to name all of them. Try the mojito, you wonât be disappointed. Oh if youâre dining with children, their food comes in these classic car plates which are super cute and very Cuba, my kids love them!!!!! This is definitely our go to spot, particularly on the weekend. I read that they have karaoke on Fridayâs, we will have to visit them and see how that is. Oh and the live music gives it that Cuban/Caribbean feel. I definitely recommend A Touch of Cuba, oh and the prices are good so you get great food and your wallet wonât hate you. Happy eating everyone.

There are many Cuban restaurants in Broward county, even several in Haalandale Beach, but one of our favorites is the Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine on Hallandale Beach Boulevard. Normally we do itâs carry-out and find this to be fast, convenient and quite reasonably priced. Itâs wait staff is always friendly and courteous. Our favorites are the vaca frita, the vaca frita de pollo and the ropa vieja, but you can hardly go wrong with any of their chicken or beef dishes, or pork for that matter. Come to think of it, we also like their fish in salsa verde. Side dishes are also very tasty.
