We went for the pork chop breakfast (on the recommendation of a long time expat) and were not disappointed. The food was great and plentiful. The owner served us himself and was so kind and helpful. Would definitely return!

We stopped at Zi thinking we could get a quick meal before heading back to our condo for the night. The service was quite slow. Our server checked on us twice in the first few minutes after sitting down, but after telling her we still needed time to review the menu we didnât see her again for probably 10-15 minutes. I ordered fajitas, but thatâs not what I received. Iâm not exactly sure what it was, but ate it because by the time it came we were anxious to finish & leave. My husband said his meal was good. Hello tkecincy,Let me apologize for your recent experience at Zi Lounge. It appears our salonera stopped by a couple of times to take your order but you were not ready. It is always a balance to determine when to come back to someone's table once they state that they need more time. We will review with the staff to check back a bit sooner. I have sent you a request to find out more information on your meal. We do have supervisors on the floor for this reason. If you did not get what you order please let the salonera or supervisor know so we can rectify the issue immediately. If you do not give the restaurant a chance to either replace the meal or even comp it then we both failed. It is our policy to rectify all issues in this way. If you are still in the area please stop back in and we will comp you a fajita plate. Our customers and their experience are our #1 priority.Gracias

One of our favourite places to stop in Coco. The food is good, staff friendly and fast ... the band playing the night we were there was good but too loud and never took a break so we couldnât talk to people we met. My husband didnât like the ribs but my wings were excellent!

The food is absolutely superb, and complemented with a highly attentive staff, a cozy and intimate ambiance, and a jaw-dropping view, makes this unique hidden gem one of the best restaurants in the country! Everythingâs fresh, immaculately prepared, and beautifully presented. For lunch, you just canât go wrong with their nachos, fish tacos, ahi tuna salad, or steak sandwich. And for dinner, make sure to get there early to watch the sunset over a couple of cocktails, and then enjoy their caribbean style seafood soup starter, followed by one of their freshly caught fish specialties. Joaquin made our time at the Ocotal Beach Club wonderful. He anticipated what we might need or want, responded to questions and requests immediately and made us feel totally at home. Katy made delicious breakfasts--her own take on huevos rancheros was wonderful! The place is beautifully attended to and Joaquin was always working to make sure it stayed that way. Highly recommend.Thanks very much to Martha and her husband, a very special couple for us who were staying at the Beach Club, it was easy to know what they wanted or needed, you were very kind and of course my wife Katy offered the best tasting breakfast. Hopefully they come back again.

We didn't actually dine in, but picked up some amazing mahi mahi steaks and jumbo prawns to bbq at our Air BnB. The quality was amazing, the price was right and the service was fantastic. We'd planned on a dinner stop one night, but after a long day at the beach, pulled the plug - very unfortunate, as it looked absolutely amazing! Definitely give this place a try when in town.

Our family of six had a fun time finding this place, and were glad we did. It's a great place to relax by the beach, have some tropical drinks and good food. We stayed around to watch the sun set on a huge rock between two islands off shore. The team of servers was very attentive. Our only complaint would be the constant battle to keep pesky flies off of our drinks and food.Hello Birdguy: Thank you for your review and for your business! I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed your time with us. I have watched many sunsets between the mountain and island in front of Father Rooster. It is quite a display. Glad you enjoyed the food and drinks. I wish that we had a better solution for the flies. They come on occasion and cover the entire region--generally when the winds are pushing out from the farmland over the ocean. It is pretty tough to keep them at bay. In any case, thanks again for your business and please come back again soon!
