We had a special room (including setup time), really great service and excellent food (including gluten free and vegetarian choices). There was a river view until sunset and the vibe was great. After the birthday dinner, we moved to the live music area and enjoyed that as well. The only extra cost above standard prices was $2 a head for white table clothes. So glad to hear that you enjoyed your 50th celebrations in the Cove, it's a great space for enjoying a small intimate celebration. The water and sunset views sure are beautiful, great cocktails and live music would have made it a night to remember! We look forward to seeing you on your next visit!

There was nothing on the plate except for the fish ordered. The mains come with a side (that came separately). The barramundi was excellent. The tuna entree was very good. The steamed vegetables were crisp and the sweet potato fries (note they were kumera not sweet potato) were yummy but very salty. We said we wanted to eat quickly, which we did. The room was freezing - although it was high 20s outside, I required long pants, a jumper and also my husband's jumper! It was so unpleasant that we didn't stay for dessert.
