I didn't get the name of our waiter (big hair, comes from Panama) but he made us feel incredibly welcome and even called us back when my daughter had inadvertantly overtipped him (2notes sticking together). You don't often get such a combination of friendliness, energy and efficiency, he's worth his weight in gold!The food is tapas style and very tasty. Over 2 visits we tried quite a few things on the menu including the 'trumpets of death' (!!), the pork loin with quinoea and the hake but the dish I really loved the most was the tortilla - simple and excellently made. The second night we ended up there the kitchen was open pretty late, although they do tend to run out of some of the items on the menu as the evening goes on. The wine was delicious too..... If only I could be back there, happy days!

Amazing! Blown away by the quality of food and service. My family and I were in the area and found this place in TripAdvisor and decided to come based on the reviews here. Definitely worth the drive up. The place has a professional chef and the service is really great. Every single items is delicious. The place is cozy, rustic, and authentic. Great for those who want to get an authentic meal in a hidden treasure of a restaurant. Recommend the huevos rotos con gulas y gambas (eggs with shrimp), pizza de cuatro quesos (four cheese), puntillas (like a calamari), y pizza de pulpo (octopus).Thank you very much Donatella. Es la segunda vez que vamos. La primera fue cena a la carta y nos sorprendió muchÃsimo tanto por la calidad del producto como por la elaboración excelente y riquÃsimo y por supuesto el trato. Pero esta vez fuimos a mediodÃa 6 personas a la carta pero con una oferta del, tenedor y nos encantó igualmente y además no hubo ningún tipo de diferencia en calidad ni cantidad ni trato recibido pese a ir con una oferta en los platos de la carta. Con lo cual salimos encantadisimos. Además probamos otros platos y todo estaba de 10. La corbina muy buena. Los tacos de salmon y el besugo marinado riquÃsimo. Volveremos muchas veces!!!!

I cannot rate it as restaurant as we stopped for a few drinks and a rest. The staff was quick and attentive. The location outside is perfect as the whole city of all ages pass by. The interior looks great and the menu inviting.Thank you very much for your opinion.

The tapas concept is taken to a new level at O Soutu, with excellent variations on traditional themes. Small twists in taste, texture or presentation creates a brilliant culinary experience, well worth the price. Clearly the best meal in Galicia this time around- and there has been many good ones. Friendly and helpful staff in rustic-stylish surroundings, a place to return to.

Only open three months when we came but the food at Gula is incredible! Portion sizes are good, service is excellent and friendly, and wonderful wine too! I wish I was staying longer than the day in Pontevedra to try more of their menu!

If you are in Galicia be sure to visit this excellent restaurants which you will remember for the rest of life. An outstanding, delicious seafood to enjoy over hours, served and explained by chef- owner, Pepe and his team. We ordered the gastronomic menu. Everything has been worked and set up to the very detail. One of the unique presentations we ever had, served on wooden, stone and china dishes. Great ambiance.
