Zinc is an excellent restaurant in downtown New Haven. It changes in its menu often. The reason it changes is because itâs a farm fresh to table restaurant so they use what is in season. During the summer they have a fixed menu which makes it a little more reasonable for people to go. Anytime you go is excellent

This fine dining establishment is french cuisine done at its best. Although quite expensive, it is a place for special occasions for most folks. The atmosphere, the service and the food are all top shelf. When making a reservation be sure to be seated in the main dinning room! The first time we went was for our anniversary and they stuck us in a corridor. We strive every day to ensure our guests have a wonderful meal and a marvelous time at our restaurant and it is extremely encouraging for someone to tell us. Thank you again for your kind comments and patronage. We look forward to serving you again soon.

Simple but delicious! Great for big groups and families. Loved the Salad with caramelized pecans and bleu small and large both portion to share.Pick your pizza topping... pepperoni had a nice spice Great beer selection and bartender was able to give you suggestions. Cocktail selection looked great but went for IPA

We serve seasonal, flavor-driven, farm + coastal cuisine in a relaxed, modern setting. Heirloom is located within The Study at Yale hotel on Chapel Street in the heart of the Yale University Arts Campus in New Haven, CT As comfortable as it is stylish, He
As one of the top rated restaurants in New Haven I had high expectations for Heirloom and the disappointed. The restaurant is modern chrome and glass and sits on the edge of Yale University. They were not busy when we arrived and we were seated and drink orders taken quickly. Food preparation was slow so come prepared to wait. The baked Jonah crab was spicy with no crab flavour - unpleasant. The smoked Maine trout was excellent, the hit of the night. My daughter had pasta and enjoyed it. My branzino was 3 small over cooked fillets with no sauce and no flavour. My wifeâs chicken was dry and nothing special.Donât be mislead by their on-line menu, there were only 6-8 entrees offered the night we dined.Frankly, no reason to go back. Bill was $155 for 3 before tip with 2 glasses of wine, one beer and no dessert.

Had an amazing experience and meal here with family right before Christmas. The waitstaff was amazing, friendly and made us feel like family. The food speaks for itself. Osso buco, veal, steaks, calamari, the risotto balls. Absolutely mouth watering. And the wine selection was just as nice.Canât wait to visit again for our familyâs next special occasion.
