Luckey House is een drukbezochte afhaalzaak. Dat zegt al iets over de kwaliteit van wat er geboden wordt. Maar wat jammer dat niet meer mensen de kans pakken om in het restaurant van de geweldige gerechten te genieten. Want zoals hier wordt geserveerd, voegt veel toe aan het eetplezier.De bediening is van chinese origine, maar maakt vol deel uit van de plaatselijke gemeenschap. Een kwinkslag over plaatselijke besognes is niet uitzonderlijk. Onvermijdelijk draagt het bij tot een thuisgevoel in een oriëntaalse omgeving.We bestellen met zijn vieren allen een eigen en verschillend gerecht. Zonder uitzondering prachtig uitgevoerd en zeer smakelijk. Maar ook, zoals bijna gebruikelijk, te veel voor onze trek.De ervaringen met de afhaalmaaltijden zijn altijd zeer positief, maar voor hetzelfde geld zit je comfortabel aan tafel en word je voorzien van eerlijke gastvrijheid die je steeds van heerlijke gerechten voorziet. We zullen er met regelmaat gebruik van blijven maken!

This restaurant is is almost solely visited for take away meals for people in the neighbourhood. The restaurant itself is seldomly visited by anyone. That is because the restaurant is not on a very good locaion for that, in the suburb. Besides that, the food is certainly not bad. It is not excellent too, but the price is right, the portions are very large, as usual in Chinese take aways in the Netherlands.Try the more traditional Chinese food here, like Cha Siu, that is very good!

Dit kleine restaurant, in een klein dorp, moet het vast hebben van de omliggende campings en jachthavens. Het heeft maar 34 zitplaatsen en een aparte afhaalingang. Dat laatste, afhalen dus, zal hun grootste omzetmaker zijn. Op zaterdagen heeft men hier een lopend buffet voor een zeer redelijke prijs. Het eten was heerlijk, de bediening erg vriendelijk en de prijs was zeer schappelijk. Men is alle dagen van de week geopend.

This is one of the new sushi "all you can eat" restaurants in the Netherlands. Originally a Chinese restaurant, now converted into a Japanese restaurant. According to my family it is the best sushi restaurant in the region. I don't have this comparison myself, but it is indeed a very good restaurant.The sushi in all his forms is freshly made, tasting very well.The "all you can eat" formula is well explained in advance, and the service is friendly and attentive.Recommended!

This all-you-can-eat restaurant has been successful for many years for four basic reasons: (1) the quality of food/ingredients is relatively high; (2) the choice of food is very good (including Japanese sushi, wok, Chinese and Indonesian kitchen); (3) the price is very reasonable (EUR for adults) and (4) the good and friendly staff. Downsides are the fact that it sometimes can feel as a little factory (the guests are so excited about the concept that they are not all very relaxed when getting their food) and that the restaurant certainly can not be considered cosy (tables are cramped). All-in-all a good place for larger groups with children. Note: make sure you reserve a table when eating there during the weekend (including Sunday)!
