Found this place by chance after a day of hiking around Nikko. I started with Gyozas which were absolutely delicious especially given the secret sauce. I continued with a local form of Ramen noodles, Yoba, that seems to be famously from Nikko. The host, Akira, was wonderfully attentive. Speaks quite good English and is eager to learn new things about the world as well as sharing with you the local knowledge. Truly priceless. I wish I would have met him before visiting the shrines. I will gladly come back again.

A good spot for dinner in Nikko - not too far from the Turtle Inn (Hotorian). Some Chinese cuisine, some standard Japanese ramen. All-round decent eatery with very helpful staff and a very reasonable pricing. We found it a bit by chance after trying to locate a "mainstream" ramen place but we didn't and ended up there. You will find Chinese dishes but from what I could tell they were Japanised to an extend and not as authentic as the real Chinese stuff on the mainland. Still,. you can't go wrong there and you will have a very nice dinner to enjoy,
