First things first: this place belongs to a chain. Having said that, it is a great place to be. The seating is divided into different themes with different kind of furniture. Food, especially finger food, is delicious, the drinks are well done, and there is patio seating is very comfy ...On weekends it is a very crowded place with guests of all ages ... a nice place to get in touch with others, have fun and enjoy the Happy Hour (until 9pm).Drawbacks: be patient with the waiters, order double to stay happy ;-)

Wir waren sehr früh an einem Freitag dort (Ca.18:15) und durften das Buffet eröffnen. Es war reichlich aufgetischt und die meisten Speisen waren nach unserem Eindruck frisch zubereitet. Brot, Salat, Pesto, Fisch und Fleischgerichte. Einiges war total lecker, anderes traf nicht so unseren Geschmack aber so ist das bei einem Buffet. Personal war durchweg klasse, nett, zuvorkommend dennoch unaufdringlich! Ambiente ist sauber und unspektakulär. Restaurant bekommt eine klare Empfehlung von uns!

I had two meals here recently. The Duffel specialises in potato meals. There is a view across the valley. The food was of a high quality and wines were also good. I recommend the asparagus. Best place I have eaten in Siegen.

I ate here while staying at the Snorrenburg Hotel and it is very good. On the recommendation of one of my German friends I ordered something off the menu but the bill was still very reasonable. It has good food, good beer, good atmosphere - what more do you want?

We went here for a family party with 10 people. Although I understand that in this provincial region one cannot expect the same quality of food and service as in a city, this experience was fairly sub-standard.When we came in, we were immediately asked for our drinks choices. There was no menu. It took them ages to bring everything, including the menus which arrived much later than the drinks. There were only two service staff (one elderly man who appeared to be the chief but worked in a rather portly manner and one girl who did her best to be kind and quick but was clearly out of her depth with the amount of guests).The food was alright, but options were merely more than "Schnitzel plus x". Only one vegetarian dish. Given the quality of the food, prices are too high.Furthermore, we were at first sat in a separate room with another party of about ten women who were so loud and annoying that we complained about it. The result was that WE were relocated and had to split in two groups.A rather disappointing experience.

Normally, buffet is not our first choice, but it was our only option on a Saturday night. And we were satisfied: service was very attentive and friendly, most of the food we tried was good and it was good value, 23⬠for appetizer and main course buffet with lots of things. The setting in the Wintergarten was nice, although it can get noisy when packed with people.

Our hosts treated us to lunch at the Gastehaus Wilgrsdorf today. We had a wonderful lunch. The facilities and service were very good and the view from our window seats was excellent. The portions were huge - too much for lunch and everything was very good except that my rump steak was over cooked... I requested Medium Rare and received Medium Well. It was OK the pepper sauce saved the dish. The Spargelsuppe was most excellent!
