We made a reservation on a Saturday night, as this place was highly ranked on Tripadvisor. Maybe our expectations got too high, but the food we got served was average to us. We got salmon, cod fish and steak. We just got a tiny bit of veggies with it, and 2 bowls of fries for 5 persons. As we asked for another bowl, the bowl never made it to the table. Before we knew our plates were already gone, and we realized we were not fulfilled yet. In the end we ordered deserts as we were still hungry. The deserts were really good! Only the service and the portions of the main courses were lacking.

Ome Bernard is a very pleasant restaurant right in the heart of Den Bosch. It is what de Dutch would call gezellig, cosy. It comes with several smaller rooms, so you don't get that crowded feeling. Food here is well prepared and service is good. From the restaurant It is only a small distance to almost all attractions of the city.

Fabuleux

Had been trying to book for months and finally it happened; first dinner at Fabuleux. Unfortunately it was not the experience I had anticipated. The facilities are amazing, the wines are great and the service seems competent but then again not. We had to refill our water glasses despite lots of attention and the food was a bit of a disappointment. It seemed like two of the four dishes had the same extras and it was all a bit bland. It could have been a bad evening so we will be back.
