Brunnwart is a typical bavarian restaurant with beergarden. We have 2 different rooms and a huge beergarden. We offer typical bavarian and mediterranean food. We do have a daily changing menu with specials and of course we can offer english menues. For th
Four of us went here based mainly on the recommendations from staff at our hotel which was nearby (walking distance). We were very glad we did. The local Bavarian cuisine was excellent and reasonable. We had the pork (Munich original) and veal schnitzels and bratwurst sausage, all of which were very good. The desserts were also excellent. Service was friendly and quick.

Its a little hidden down a side street but that makes it rather peaceful. Outdoor area is lovely on a sunny day- a great place to chill with a beer. We had breakfast here, the food seems high quality and presented nicely, the breakfasts are like platters with a selection of food depending on which type of platter you've ordered. I had the Scandinavian breakfast which included a lot of smoked salmon, scrambled eggs fruit salad and yoghurt. Its filling. The only downside is the price, its not cheap at over 4 euros for a coffee and the platters are upwards of 11 euros.

Came here with colleagues from work for whom it s a favorite and it did not disappoint. Food was excellent, typical German plates and excellent menu choice. Staff were good and drinks well served. Service a little on the slow side so don't expect a quick meal. Do have one or two Weiss Biers whilst waiting ! Well worth the trip out to the English Garden - very few touristas too which was nice.

The beer garden offers simple but delicious food, there is an a la carte option for the restaurant and the beer garden. The portions are very generous, the prices are moderate, the quality of he food is excellent and the service is friendly and efficient. I had two meals - I enjoyed dorade and I had a beer garden meal of a meatball and cabbage salad, washed down with a cool beer.:-) Thank you very much for your nice review about beergarden and restaurant! It´s a pleasure to us, that you enjoyed it everywhere! So please come back soon and recommend us to your friends! See you! The Seidls

For great German food with fantastic local beer you canât beat Zum Hackerbau. My favourite there is the Pork Knuckle - made to perfection, falls off the bone. They also serve a small selection of deserts which are outstanding.Typical cost including beer â¬20 per person...good value for money.

On our last night at the Pullman in Munich we had no idea where to eat close by. The hotel clerk recommend Trattoria Da Fausto; a delightful restaurant and just a short, pretty walk from the hotel. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in a traditional way: Murano style glass light fixtures, greenery, cloth table & napkins. The menu has a good variety of food. We had duck Carpaccio, a mixed salad, a duck stuffed ravioli, tagliatelle, chardonnay and bottled water. The portions were generous, well presented and the food was delicious. The owner even included complimentary Limoncello at the meals end. Unfortunately we were too full for dessert. We were waited on mostly by the owner and his wife. We ended up chatting with them a lot and it turns out they sometimes visit our home city of Montreal. We hope to meet up with them in Montreal the next time they come here. We highly recommend this restaurant!Mille grazie team Fausto
