I've visited Kanape numerous times and I've had a good experience overall. However, tonight I had a horrible experience for the second time. A few months ago, there was a bug in my salad which I didn't get mad about (a discount or a compensation wasn't suggested). Today, there was a problem with my salad and I sent it back. I didn't want a new one and instead, I ordered a portion of zucchini which was half the price of the salad. At the end of the evening, we got the bill and I noticed that the salad is on it, the zucchini is not. I asked the manager why is that, considering I didn't eat the salad + the zucchini is cheaper. Why on earth am I paying more for something I didn't eat?! He was very rude and told me that he can't do anything about it. I am a waitress and I am a regular customer. I find this unacceptable and I believe that this "manager" doesn't have any experience or proper training.

I stayed in Pleven for three weeks and ate here most nights. Although I was the only guest most evenings, the food was good, service great and white wine excellent. They also have a guest chef party night once a month for which you have to buy a ticket but at â¬15 it's a bargain.
