We had the pork ribs and roast beef. Both were incredible. The apple strudel was pretty good but didn't change my life like I'd hoped. Our waiter was helpful and friendly, but the service got progressively slower as the meal progressed. Because it was so slow I requested dessert before we had even finished eating the main course. After 30 minutes we asked for the check and our (now free of charge) dessert finally arrived as we settled the bill. I'm not sure if I would go again.Dear slck0,Thank you for sharing your honest feedback on your recent dining experiences at Irmi restaurant. While we are happy to see you truly enjoyed the pork ribs, as well as the roast beef and you experienced the service of your waiter as very friendly and helpful we are sorry there was a element which marred your dining experience. We totally understand that waiting times always have a negative influence on a dining experience and we kindly ask to accept our apologies once again. Rest assured we will work on our service performance to ensure the quality and service performance stays on a high level the entire evening. We would be happy to show you next time that we can do better.Kind regards,Severin and the Irmi Team

A cut above most of the restaurants in the area between the station and Karlsplatz, with a very extensive and starry wine list, but more modest fare as well. Wine is the focus, but the menu is interesting and well presented. Gazpacho to start was excellent and a generous portion. Mixed fis on a spinach risotto was tasty, well cooked and generous. Spinach ravioli with ricotta was also good. Attentive efficient service, pleasant atmosphere. Not cheap, but worth it for a good experience. Various white and red local wines all very acceptable.Dear simmotours, thank you for sharing your experience with us and the tripadvsior community. Terrible service! I was a solo woman staying at the hotel. I’ve walked through this lobby restaurant twenty times. When I sat down to order a glass of wine at 9:00 pm I waited over ten minutes for a wine list, then another 17 minutes. No waiter. There were 21 others seated at six different tables. One couple actually showed up five minutes after I did, ate a dessert, and left. I admit the woman who was served promptly and had dessert had on really cool leather pants, but still. The Kepinski has poor service generally, but this was their chance to do something accommodating. There are so many wonderful places in Munich. Go to one of them. Dear Laurie,on behalf of the Management I would like to thank you for sharing your constructive feedback with us on TripAdvisor. Please accept our sincere apologies for the lapse of service, which does not reflect the hospitality Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten is known for. I would like to assure you that the Management Team has taken corrective actions after you have raised your concern in the hotel itself. We hold our service to a high standard, and when we fall short of expectations, we work with extra focus on our service areas that need improvement. As far as I am concerned, the Management Team will contact you shortly and we all hope that you will give us a chance to prove you our dedication to excellent hospitality upon your next visit.Yours sincerely,Ria Knorr

Had dinner tonight and didn’t realise until we got back to our room and checked the receipt that we had been charged an extra $19.50. Should’ve totalled no more than $35 with a service fee, but was charged $49.70. Absolutely absurd. Would not recommend the place purely because of this. Food was okay otherwise.

On our last night at the Pullman in Munich we had no idea where to eat close by. The hotel clerk recommend Trattoria Da Fausto; a delightful restaurant and just a short, pretty walk from the hotel. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in a traditional way: Murano style glass light fixtures, greenery, cloth table & napkins. The menu has a good variety of food. We had duck Carpaccio, a mixed salad, a duck stuffed ravioli, tagliatelle, chardonnay and bottled water. The portions were generous, well presented and the food was delicious. The owner even included complimentary Limoncello at the meals end. Unfortunately we were too full for dessert. We were waited on mostly by the owner and his wife. We ended up chatting with them a lot and it turns out they sometimes visit our home city of Montreal. We hope to meet up with them in Montreal the next time they come here. We highly recommend this restaurant!Mille grazie team Fausto

We had a great evening st Thalassa. The owner personally welcomed us with two glasses of ouzo before we struggled to finally choose several of the many great options on the menu. The mixed spit of grilled meats was excellent as was the pitta grilled with garlic. The moussaka tasted as great as it looked. After dessert, the owner came by again with a glass of warm metaxa. While not a cognac fan, this was surprisingly smooth and a nice ending to the night. Only fault keeping this from a 5 star review is a few hiccups from not writing down all of our order. But the food when finally served as ordered was fantastic and the service and atmosphere was great. Would definitely recommend

There are a number of things that set this restaurant apart from the other we went to - lovely refined food, efficient and casual service, quaint neighbourhood – but what really impressed was the sommelier and wine pairings. For each wine, we were given a lovely description of the wine itself but also why that particular wine was chosen for the dish we were having. It really made the entire evening very special. A must-go-to spot for dinner in Munich.

We were staying in the area and happened upon this restaurant and so glad we did. First, the owners who run the restaurant are lovely, they dont speak English much but great you with a warm smile and a handshake, and make you feel like family! The food...omg, I gained at least a few pounds there! It is soooooo delicious! Their specialty is Croatian but they also have the standard German plates as well. Very rich, tasty and bountiful food. The locals dine here as well, so definitely not touristy fare. We loved it so much, we returned on our last night in Germany. Highly recommend!
