Fantastic dinner on BBQ Wednesday at the hotel, wonderful meal, music and ambiance- truly and experience to be treasured - after dinner sitting by the sea listening the the waves was magical- great hotel to stay at, service was supreme, facilities excellent staff incredibly helpful- a wonderful experience all the way around.

we were on holiday in costa rica recently and i wanted to find somewhere nice to take my new wife for her birthday, after a search on trip advisor i found Che Sirloin, what a lovely place this is, i booked our table for the evening of 28th june through facebook. All so easy, when we got there we immediatly felt comfortable and welcomed. There is a really nice ambience to the place, we chose an outside table. we had a really great steak dinner with drinks and it all came to just over $50, brilliant. The owners even messaged me the next day thanking us for our patronage and generous tip. we had hoped to go back before we flew back to London, but things didn,t pan out, if you are in coco beach definatly give Che Sirloin a look, you will not be sorry.Than you for your kindness Guy. We LOVED our experience here! The restaurant is by reservation only and they ask that you choose your meal beforehand. More expensive than the other restaurants on site, but fair prices for amazing food and very good sized portions. My husband had the Lamb T-Bone and I had the Beef Tenderloin. The flavors on the plates were incredible and beautifully plated (but we couldnât help ourselves and started eating before we realized we needed pictures!) We shared the seafood soup which had a heavenly broth and a large assortment of different seafoods! We had a glass of red and a glass of white wines and they had many different wines to choose from. The chocolate bomb was so fun and very yummy.The servers take great pride in their food and will return anything you donât like (which wasnât a problem for us, but itâs always nice to know how much they care about your experience.) They truly want you to have the best possible experience, and we did!Thanks for your review

We ate here several times on our last visit to Coco. We were happy to find it open during October when other restaurants are closed. The protein bowl was a nice start to the day. My friends had a pulled pork sandwich which also had rave reviews. My second visit, I had the portabello sandwich, which was chopped portabello deep fried. Yum. They were testing out their new fish sandwich. My friends tried it and found it was also delicious. Their Sangria is unique in that it has some cloves added. We will definitely be back.

Open air bar and bites restaurant on the ocean.. Awesome atmosphere and good food. Very relaxed place to grab some drinks or lunch. Our party got ceviches, fish sandwiches and pizzas.. All were good. A few stray dogs roaming the restaurant which didn't bother us as my kids are huge dog lovers, but it may bother some. A must visit if you are in Playa Hermosa

Our family was staying for a week at La Gaviota Tropical hotel, home of Roberto's wonderful Bar & Restaurant. While we enjoyed several excellent lunch and dinner meals, I found their Breakfast to be special. Really liked this place. A lot of thought has gone into the design to get US sports bar meets beach bar meets upmarket marina into a coherent package. The food, drinks, presentation and setting are all great.The staff are very laid back and less effusive than anywhere else we went in CR. But it's very welcoming and relaxed.We were staying at the 4S. It's a 15 min drive. There is nothing you couldn't get by going to Bahia at the hotel but I much preferred the setting and the food quality, all at 35% off the 4S prices.No reservations, but no problem getting a table in August.

This is a remarkable dining experience. The menu, wine list, food preparation, service, and ambiance are simply superior in every quality. To top it all, the delightful owners personally attend to the guests. You will be challenged to find a better dining experience anywhere worldwide. So if you happen to visit Guanacaste, this restaurant must be on your itinerary. My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at Abbocato, and Iâm now faced with the daunting task of what to do for the next anniversary. I guess weâll have to return to Abbocato!

Our family of six had a fun time finding this place, and were glad we did. It's a great place to relax by the beach, have some tropical drinks and good food. We stayed around to watch the sun set on a huge rock between two islands off shore. The team of servers was very attentive. Our only complaint would be the constant battle to keep pesky flies off of our drinks and food.Hello Birdguy: Thank you for your review and for your business! I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed your time with us. I have watched many sunsets between the mountain and island in front of Father Rooster. It is quite a display. Glad you enjoyed the food and drinks. I wish that we had a better solution for the flies. They come on occasion and cover the entire region--generally when the winds are pushing out from the farmland over the ocean. It is pretty tough to keep them at bay.
