We went to celebrate a birthday while visiting family in Ottawa. Totally enjoyed the experience from start to finish. The restaurant is light and inviting. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the food was fantastic. We had the split buffalo/Korean cauliflower appetizer. The were a perfect start.We ordered a variety of main dishes and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their choices. Personally I found the Royale Burger to be a real treat. The sides of fries and salad were both tasty and generous.Be ready to pack up some leftovers as the portions are generous.

Recently went to Beckta with 3 friends. Service was prompt, professional and courteous, wine suggestions and matches were excellent, and the entire experience was a pleasure. The bar chefâs surprise menu was great. Our server matched each course flawlessly. Beckta on Elgin is a wonderful experience.

Great place. The atmosphere on a Tuesday night was great with the trivia. The food was excellent and the selection of brews also impressive. Plenty of parking, clean facilities and the games available on the tables were instrumental in making the kids also make Hunters their favorite spot.

Last night we celebrated my husbands Birthday at Aperitivo. We enjoyed one of their cocktails to start followed by sugar snap peas, ribs and a wonderful fresh peach and prosciutto salad. We allowed our server (and owner) Erica to pair our wine with our meal, as we always do, and sheâs always spot on. Desert was a delicious brown butter cake with sponge toffee and cream......wow! We ended our meal with coffee for me (black, since their coffee is always fresh and piping hot) and my husband tried a new scotch which made his entire day! He was still talking about it an hour after getting home! If you are celebrating or simply looking for wonderful food, memorable cocktails and wine as well as outstanding, attentive service this gem of a restaurant will never disappoint.

Had a Sat lunch. Really interesting menu choices, with clean, upscale and modern surroundings. Staff was friendly and courteous, with timely service. My friend and I really noticed what a convenient location this is, if you are exploring Westboro. Prices for entries were very reasonable. Will totally go back here.

My husband and I received a gift certificate for Atelier from our son. We did not know what to expect, as we had never heard of this restaurant. Certainly not inexpensive( around $400 for two people), however definitely worth the experience.The service was impeccable. The servers, especially Laura,and the sommelier were knowledgable and took care of making sure every need was met. The food was creative and delicious. We especially loved the parsnip soup, the Sarsaparilla duck, the Lamb and clementine as well as the Blueberry cheesecake dessert. The wine pairings were spot on and enhanced the flavors of the food. The decor was simple (not what we expected), yet clean and not overly crowded. Wonderful experience! I would recommend Atelier for any special occasion, or for tourists in town wanting an extraordinary dining experience.

The food is mostly consistent and good, however, we have had the occasional meal (special) that doesnât quite hit the mark.The restaurant consists of two rooms. The first room as you enter the restaurant is rather narrow and often too loud. The acoustics and people eating at the bar add to the noise level. The 2nd dining room off first room is not quite as loud.In summer the restaurant is hot with insufficient air conditioning. Reservations are recommended.

We were looking for a place to have either coffee, drinks or food after work near the centre. I followed the recommendations and suggested this place. It's nice that this place offers all these options! It wasn't too full when we were there. The atmosphere and decoration is nice. Service is very welcoming and friendly and attentive. I ordered a cherry cider and a borscht soup (vegan soup of the day). Neither were really to my taste - the sourness of the cider was probably tamed by the cherry flavour, and the soup was too sour. What a shame for such a nice place! I'd nevertheless be happy to come back and try another dish and an other drink, the prices are not extravagant and are rather standard for the area, so I would still recommend this place.
