Service is always good we have breakfast at mondo's at least once week some time twice They have the Best eggs Benedict in town as they have four or five varieties of the dish. Any thing I have tried at Mondo's has been really good

Home cooked country meals, all our food is prepared right here onsite by our friendly staff, we cook and slice all our meat the breads, deserts and baked goods are crafted right here in our bakery. We now have a C-Store open 7 days a week from 6am to 9pm.

Opens at 6am for breakfast and homemade meals. Beyond excellent meals! Large portions served with a smile and lots of coffee. The store also sells homemade sandwiches and desserts for lunch. located at mile 73 on the Alaska Highway. Please make sure you stop on your travels up the highway!!!

We went for breakfast there last weekend. Was very disappointed in the meal. Had the special which included waffles (that were good) scrambled eggs ... which were terrible! NO flavour, like microwaved eggs, fluffy with no flavour. Just a yellowish fluffy blob on the plate. Plus hash browns .....which may have been a hash but certainly not browned. Instead was a shredded lump of potatoes, nothing else, and pale white in colour...not browned at all. Was not a good breakfast. I realize every place has an "off" day so may try again to see if better next time...it couldn't get much worse.

We would go to Just Jacks because we stayed at the hotel but changed hotels as the food here is just fine - nothing great - beer taps were down for the whole week we were there - and the restaurant was freezing cold and couldnât turn the heat up. I would suggest going other places then wasting your time here.I am sorry to hear that your experience was effected by our draft system being down, I can assure you that this has been rectified Unfortunately as well we had power outages from storms that week and it did effect our Heat and Cooling system on a few occasions however all has been taken care of-I hope you will be back soon to allow us the opportunity to show you how good we are without the technical difficulties Lisa McMeekinFood and Beverage ManagerJust Jacks and Chances

We went to Mr Mikes for our sons birthday dinner. The service was amazing right from the time we walked in! Our waitress was very attentive and made sure everything was perfect for our evening out. We had the Smugglers cove chicken, Bugaboo ribs with the âextra ribsâ and a Classic Mr Mike bacon cheeseburger. All the food was done to perfection, so full at the end of the meal!! Highly recommend Mr Mikes FSJ, they are consistent in their good food and service! Fantastic to hear, Karen, thanks for celebrating with us and taking the time to share your experience! Been here few times already and always the food is soooo good!!! Great selection and variety of food. Love that they serve not only Canadian, Asian foods but most importantly some of the most popular and well-loved Philippine dishes. Truly the best restaurant here in fort st. John !

If you are looking for a home cooked, hearty breakfast this is the place to go. Very good food, great assortment of dishes matched with great service. Really enjoy their shredded hash-browns. Well worth the stop.

Food choices, portion and service is all fantastic. I have never had a bad experience and always look forward to our next outing. So many good healthy choices on the menu it make's it difficult to choose. The atmosphere is also nice, the music not to loud. Nice spot to stop for lunch. We parked about a block away so we didn't have to pay for street parking. They had great daily specials. I had the soup and sandwich special which was grilled capicolli and ham sandwich, with the mushroom soup. It turned out to be a tasty meal that wasn't overly heavy. My colleague got the same special with a chicken and wild rice soup. They substituted chicken for the deli meat in the sandwich. He loved his lunch and also mentioned how hearty the soup was. Would definitely visit again if I'm in town. By their daily special and menu board, it looks like you they can accommodate you if you have special dietary needs, best to ask though.
