A real find, near the Botanical Gardens in Madagascar.Absolutely lovely people who are very proud of their restaurant and ethos of utilising local spices. The food was freshly cooked for us and the chef/owner came out to make sure we were happy, and we were.We had a great lunch and would definiately return should we be nearby.The team and I thanks you for your visit and hope to see you soon

Iâve been coming here for 25 years every time I visit the island and Chez Ram never disappoints. The fresh caught, grilled Lobster here is simply the best Iâve ever tasted ... ANYWHERE.This place deserves a Michelin star for its simple yet exquisite cuisine. Crab Gratin is another exceptional dish and the Salade dâOurite (octopus salad) is âsensationelleâ.Thank you family Coolen for your insatiable desire to deliver the best fresh food in the region. I speak French but still it was like pulling teeth trying to get a recommendation out of the waiter. Settled on the lamb curry and added the samosas as a starter. The food was good, not great. Nonambiance but pleasant sitting on the covered patio watching the rain. Might go back and try the fish which someone else had. I've seen it packed various other days so Sunday may have been a little off for everyone. Prices are inexpensive for sure

We ate with the family recently thereIt is attached with a business hotel, nearby the industrial zone and port Louis harbour.It is a rather small restaurant, but with a nice setting, divided between an indoor and outdoor sitting facilities.The food seems on first impression rather expensive, but the portion is a bit better than average fortunately. The food is well presented and tastes good. We didn't like the food here as much as some previous reviewers, but we did like this modest restaurant. The owner and chef is friendly and sweet, and a good cook. Her menu is limited, mostly Chinese-inspired rice and noodle dishes (try the upside down bowl with noodles). Tasty and cheap, but I would have happily paid more for a little more meat. If you go with modest expectations, you'll enjoy your meal here.

Food at the restaurant is amazing. A bit pricey but worth the quality makes it worth it, food feels very fresh and local.They also have a good variety of deserts.They are open on Sunday until 5pm which is nice as many places close early in Mauritius.Definitely recommend.Good afternoon, Many thanks for your sharing and appreciation of the quality food and dessert. For many months we often passed this restaurant saying we would visit it one day.Why we waited so long is beyond me! Worth a visit - or ten.Sometimes you just have to order something that you can't get off the shop shelf - like freshly caught fish. We had a mix of fish dishes starting with smoked marlin to share, tuna steak and babonne (rock-cod). Then we finished with a really 'good-feel' coffee.Simple dishes - beautifully cooked - certainly ranks up there with the best.The service and staff were absolutely delightful - you will be humbled by the extraordinary mannerisms - true 'old style' hospitality. I am glad there are still restaurant staff who pay attention to their customers in a gentle, respectful and informative way.I will be back!
