My friends had been here a few times and loved this place and the food, so I went with them, we all had the burgers and there are excellent!, served with fries and salad. The family who own the bistro are really sweet and friendly.

The Appache atmosphere is unique , well decorated and peaceful .The staff gives you a prompt and warm service and really makes you feel at home .You can find a huge variety of food which we no longer have time to cook at home.

We were fortunate to get a table without a reservation when we decided to visit Rib & Reef, securing the only one available at the time. People arriving soon after us were turned away so reservations are recommended.We came especially for the seafood platter - and we weren't dissapointed. The platter was enough for two of us along with a side of fries. It consisted of crayfish, prawns, mussels and white fish . All fresh and very tasty, but unfortunately our fries didn't come out with the food. The restuarant was incredibly busy and service reflected the fact. It was still a very enjoyable meal and I also enjoyed one of the speciality cocktails.

The visit at Marieâs beautiful garden restaurant was a joy. Marie and her mom have created a beautiful garden and are extremely warm heartet welcoming people. It was a wonderful experience to talk to Marie and her lovely mother and it was obvious to feel their excitement and spirit for what they do and make their guest happy.The food they offered was absolutely delicious and Marie even provided a vegeterian version of the sausage which allowed me to still enjoy creole dish.We would not want to miss this stop and recommend this to anyone who enjoys a peaceful, beautiful tropical garden with super nice hosts and is eager to explore the original Mauritius creole food.Greetings from Escale Créole and sunny Mauritius!Sorry for my late reply...I would like to thank you for your wonderful comment about our family restaurant.With my mum and my team we try our best every single day to make you experience our "grand-mother's recipes" creole food, in a cosy and local atmosphere since 24 years now.... and we are happy that you enjoyed the food and our company!Thanks again for the time you spent for writing to us⦠it give us the energy to continue and maintain the good work!Marie-Christine and my team

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of trip advisor review.We were not disappointed.....we went there again and again.We stayed at the Sofitel in Flic en Flac. We dined at the Hilton and at Sugar Beach as well as the Sofitel.However....we found the food at The Creole Shack the best value for money.Good home cooked food run by a mother and daughter. If you are looking for frills....this is not the place. If you are looking for food that the people of Mauritius eat daily....this is the place....great value for money.We will definitely be back.

Today I visited pakbo restaurant for dinner and order many tasty food. crispy fried calamari is best starters I had today.For main course I order tandoori chicken with rice taste of yummy with indian flavour.Later i order lava cake which is must try dessert.I recommend everyone who visit Filc en FLAC if they are looking for good restaurants indian, veg, non-veg, Chinese and sea food can try Pakbo Restaurant for dinner lunch ot breakfast.Car parking is also available.

I have been there on several occasions with friends and business partners. I love this place because of the quality of service and the various and delicious choice available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Always above expectations..
