Great restaurant with western food. We used to come here every morning to eat breakfast. It was unbelievable! One of the better breakfasts i had in my life. On the day we left we asked if they can open a little earlier for us to eat and they did. The woman in charge speaks great english! And there is hummus!

Between old town square and Raven bar, with outside seating and plenty of space inside, this is ideal place for day time or evening, to hang out, people-watch and socialise. Susan, a Naxi woman, who owns the place is friendly and helpful.

I had a yak burger since others had raved about it. I wasn't disappointed, the meat was tender and the sauce in the bun divine. It came with chips which tasted homemade. The menu is extensive though - there's something for everyone and they have a pretty good selection of local beers.Staff were friendly - especially the manager who talks about the area with passion and is very informative. Other staff members didn't seem to have much English but the menu is well written in both Chinese and English so it's easy to point if you need to.It's not the best meal I've ever eaten but the value is good - average for western standard food in Shangri la. This pizzeria is the hidden gem. Iâm kinda picky on foods. They have everything you need. Not only the food is great but also itâs super clean. You can also try a bottle of Shangri-la beer for 20RMB. Plus, you can get any dish a la carte. If youâre sick and tired of Chinese dishes, you should visit here.

We visited this restaurant several times during our stay in Shangri-la. Great Tibetan food (I loved momo dumplings!) but also very decent Western food (steak, burger) and breakfast. The owners are very kind and helpful - they speak perfect English so we were able not only order our food in a right way but also got some tips on what to do in Shangri-la and neighborhood. Recommended!

We stopped for,late,lunch and shared a huge veg curry with rice. The veggies in this dish and in the veg momos we had we fresh and tasty. We enjoyed both dishes and although we were quite full decided to share a slice of cheesecake. Not only the best cheesecake we've had in China over the last 3 years, but a rival for any New York cheescake! We found this place through a TripAdvisor recommendation and, WOW, it was right on. We ended up eating of having tea here about 4-5 times in a six day stay!! The atmosphere of the old town location was absolutely amazing! We found the food at the nearby second location (especially breakfast) fantastic! My next stay will be at the old town location as the have three rooms to rent.
