This is a biker/cycle friendly cafe that serves the best English breakfast I've had for a long time. If you like your black pudding, its worth a visit for that alone. Staff are friendly and there is outside seating. NB No toilets so you have to go to the public loos over the road about 50 yards away on the village green. Many thanks Clijan, hope to see you again sometime

Driving my disabled Father back from Hospital the other week, he really fancied a cooked breakfast from one of his favourite Café haunts. We were able to phone ahead from Chichester and collect a delicious Corn Store, Full Breakfast, and head on home. Packaged wonderfully, brought out of the kitchen as I walked in, could not have been easier. This is almost definitely going to become a regular thing!

The Coffee House serves a wide selection of choice coffees and teas; breakfasts, delicious lunches; morning coffees and cakes and traditional English afternoon teas. We also have an extensive takeaway menu. We try to offer a varied selection, but if we do
I called in for lunch before meeting a friend for afternoon tea. Gartons is situated in the Old Town Hall and the decor is light and airy with some of the old features still intact. As it was a gorgeous hot day I sat outside on the terrace area which overlooked the Church and some of Midhurstâs oldest buildings. My cheese and pate platter was delicious and the service was excellent. Prices were reasonable and the tables werenât too close together. When I later met up with my friend for tea she suggested a great place in the Square...and it turned out to be Gartons! My cake was lovely and fresh and beautifully presented.Next time I visit Midhurst I will call in again and I have already recommended Gartons to friends. Many thanks for your kind review and comments. I'm glad you enjoyed your visit and that our service was up to scratch! This is probably the best time of year to enjoy our ideallic setting, so we hope to see you again soon.Kind regards, Steve Franks

Cockburn's is a traditional tea room, restaurant and confectioner situated in the historic 17th century surroundings of Knockhundred Row, Midhurst. As well as our quintessentially English Afternoon Teas, we offer a comprehensive lunch menu of seasonal Bri
Lovely welcome by friendly staff, good service and nice surroundings.Priced reasonably and lots of choice.Cake was lovely and fluffy, I wouldâve preferred a slightly stronger flavour of coffee in my coffee cake, and the flat white was more like a latte. But this was just a preference, but perfectly adequate.

A lovely delicatessen and cafe situated in the old part of town. All our fillings, cakes, quiche, soups and salads are made here on site by Ryan, Karen and Beverley. We serve very good coffee, using beans from Edgecumbes in Arundel and more importantly, a
Third or fourth visit for quick takeaway.Midhurst is an attractive, prosperous, small Sussex town with history and charm, and a gateway to the South Downs.Service impeccable, quick, charming, efficient. My egg and bacon baguette, on one occasion, was cooked just the way I asked, just the way I like it, and you might be surprised to learn that, in my extensive experience, something so standard can be ruined by indifference, incompetence, or practice all too prevalent in this country. Not here it's not!Food: clearly quality fresh ingredients, generously-filled and fairly-priced, and tasty, very very tasty.Cappo: excellentThey obviously know what they are about, and it shows. You might also be tempted by their array of biscuit tins, honey, and other similar delights. If only others could get their act as together as Comestibles have theirs!See you again, hopefully, when I'm passing.

Popped in for a lovely lunch of poached eggs on multigrain toast and a pot of tea. The cafe is lovely inside, service excellent - nothing is too much trouble, food is excellent. Prices very reasonable. Good selection of cakes. Will definitely return. Well worth a visit.Thank you for your kind review. We are so pleased you enjoyed your lunch at Tilly's and we look forward to seeing you next time you visit Midhurst.
After a walk around this lovely place and its very nice shops we dropped in here for coffe. It was delicious coffe. Having lunch already we didnât have anything to eat but the food coming out looked very tasty. Sadly we had forgotten to pack our cold bag otherwise we would certainly have bought some of the tasty treats on offer in the deli. If you like a range of oils this is the place to go to bottle your own. They also some very nice kitchen equipment on sale.

Like many people I guess, we just popped in for a cake and a drink at the end of our visit. Nothing to complain about, it is what it is.

Named by The Times as one of the 30 Best Places for Brunch in Britain in 2012 The Hungry Guest cafe, located in Lombard Street just off the main square in Petworth, offers a great menu to enjoy in a modern and beautifully designed environment.
Awful service, 11:20 on a Sunday and wouldnât serve breakfast as lunch menu was starting which we could have until 12. Think itâs called hungry guest because thatâs what the customers are.

The panini was good, only bottled drinks, not brilliant, but the watitess spilt my husband's full drink all over him when she arrived with the panini. Her response: 'Oh bugger'. They were apologetic, wiped up and provided another drink but a sugary drink means washing jumper and trousers as well as walking around in wet clothes. Good customer service would have waived the bill (less than £10). Not impressed. A good reputation on Tripadvisor needs maintaining. We discovered there were equally good places in Petworth after our disastrous lunch!
