We had the menu del dia three days in a row. At â¬10 for 3 courses, bread and a drink you cannot go wrong. Excellent Carrillada and natillas. Friendly staff. What more do you need?

Estuve el domingo pasado de ruta por la alpujarra encontre en pampaneira un restaurante, bar, escondido como el solo alejado de la civilizacion, pero eso siiiii, increiblemente aconsejable, trato increÃble por donde lo mires, la comida la parrillada de carne morcilla chirozos, i para esos las papas s ll pobre, o esas migas hechas por la abuela como su nombre nombra, increÃble i las sangrÃas del sr. Antonio el camarero que cacho de persona i de profesional, en fin volvere sin duda i no tardare mucho, aconsejable 1000x1000

Reasonable place for lunch. But we sat outside and lorries and buses roared by so it was an intrusion. Better to sit inside! Fried cod pieces were good as were the fried aubergines with honey but the grilled vegetables were boring and not recommended. There is a E12 menu Del dia but we did not take it. Worked out for 3 about E9 each with a drink.

Un bar exquisito donde puedes beber lo tipico de la zona, vini costa y platos alpujarreños asi que no dudeis si pasais por la zona en disfrutar de una visita y saborear unas maravillosas tapas, el servicio muy bueno, buena gente y calidad precio excelente.

This was our "go to" cafe for frugal dining in Orgiva, located just up the street from the town's distinctive church. Ostensibly the cafe's bread and butter (so to speak) is breakfast. They serve excellent coffee, a multitude of flavoured hot chocolates and a wide selection of pastries baked on site. But there's also a full bar downstairs, and the kitchen serves casual fare for lunch and dinner. We had an excellent light breakfast there on one occasion and stopped for pizza on two occasions. The pizza was above average -- not gourmet, but certainly better than the big chains like Pizza Hut or Dominos!They're accustomed to tourists -- we heard a lot of English voices at other tables -- but they're popular with locals too. By and large, the staff are friendly, particularly the owner, who is a bit of a character. If you don't stop to eat, they've also got a counter where you can purchase pastries, bread and cakes to take with you.

Situated at the local campsite the restaurant is self-contained. it recently changed hands and is now under control of the previous head waiter, Gustav.large interior dining rooms often packed with interest groups or families celebrating weddings. Very popular during the time of First Communion.Outside shaded terrace with vies across the mountains. Ample parking. Children's play area and a chicken run.Long menu with dishes prepared very well. Lamb shoulders a speciality as are ham shanks.
