Ate breakfast here this morning with my family and was very impressed with the food and service. Prices were very reasonable. My husband had the Eggs Benedict and was very complementary about them. The grandchildren and I loved our pancakes. It was very busy this morning and deserves to be when they can provide such a nice well priced breakfast.

Went here twice over a five day stay in the Barossa Valley.First time was for coffee - which was excellent and whetted our appetite to return for breakfast on another day.The space is wonderful - it is located in an old, renovated industrial space and has a lot of character. The breakfast menu is very interesting and innovative with some unusual food combinations. Gluten free bread is available for those who need this option. The food was great and the serving sizes are generous. All four members of our group thoroughly enjoyed their selections.Would happily go back when next in the Barossa

Warm plates, hot food, and ample topping. Served on a deliciously thin crust, this wood oven pizza was faultless. Also, their house made ice coffee, the real deal, topped with cream and icecream was refreshing as it wasn’t too sweet. A good selection of cakes to have with coffee. Also, local wines and beer/ciderDelightful setting, lovely friendly staff and good, happy service

We as a family have visited the big grill in nuriootpa several times and the food never lets us down except the waffles that are never available unfortunately, the staff could use a bit of an attitude change as a few of the older ladies just seem to be annoyed by everything lol.Well worth a visit even with out the smile you would expect with food service.

This was not a pleasant experience. Firstly I will admit my wife was hungry and ate her entire dish and said the mussels tasted good. Unfortunately my dish of beans, scrambled eggs and ground corn chips was underwhelming. Scrambled eggs were over cooked. However the main issue was the stench from the mussels! Both myself and my daughter were dry reaching over the smell as was another diner whose friend had similar. It was likely done in a fish sauce but was so unpleasant that I have ordered my wife to never order that sort of dish again!

This is a no fuss no frills family owned and operated restaurant. We had the Sunday long lunch with multiple courses. It was delicious. The owners are the chef and the front of house wait staff. They offered genuine service and mingled with their patrons sharing stories of the origins of the recipes. The food was simple well cooked Italian fare, supported by an interesting wine list, much sourced from Italy and France.Overall, an excellent meal and one that I would be happy to enjoy again

IThis newly built cafe is light and airy and in a good location at one end of the new Co-op mall, however access could be made easier if the cafe allowed people through the door facing the carpark. The meals while not terrible could benefit from a bit of love and perhaps some inspiration. On one visit I ordered the berry pancakes thinking I’d get some lovely fresh berries and nice presentation but my plate contained a few plain pancakes, a small dish of shop bought jam and a bit of yoghurt, it tasted fine but was certainly nothing special. The staff seemed friendly enough and there are a range of smoothies on the menu, hot beverages, as well as typical breakfast and lunch meals. Overall a nice place to stop after shopping.

Maggie Beer's Farm Shop

Reviewed By EnglishViv

This is a lovely space situated inside a sort of upscale farm shop in the Barossa. It reminded me a little of Daylesford Farm Shop in Oxfordshire, UK. The grounds are fantastic and well-planted with climate-suited succulents and the like. Birds a-plenty too.The menu is small but with some lovely dishes. I had a starter for lunch based on brussels sprouts and black hollandaise and bacon. A lot tastier than it sounds! They also serve non-alcoholic sparkling Cabernet and Chardonnay grape juices which were really refreshing. Their ciabatta bread was delicious and the butter that came with it was particularly good. Service was brusque but efficient. Not a lot of friendly interaction but that didn’t detract from the food and the surroundings that much. Definitely a great place to stop on a trip around the Barossa.
