Such a good casual place for breakfast with unique food menu. Staff was very attentive, brilliant food (especially Chilli Scrambled Eggs with Mooloolaba Crab), and eclectic coffee menus! As for waiting time; we went on a weekday morning, so we were seated straight away with no hassle.

Perfect Weekend breakfast place. Good spot on Chapel street. Good coffee of course as well.Had the portobello mushroom eggs benedict on cauliflower mash and with haloumi. Friend had tender roastpork belly eggs benedict.This place is always busy. Hip and just great. A must even for lunch or later

What a happy ,friendly place this is.We went for breakfast and I had the big breakfast with bacon ,eggs,haloumi,tomatoâs and Un smashed avocadoand it was just first rate .Good coffee ,great people watching and suitably buzzy .Pretty good value as well

We had breakfast on a Sunday morning. The place looked great and we really enjoyed the vibe and the music. I ordered dirty eggs and it was amazing. I wondered why they gave me a spoon as well as a knife and fork but soon found out I would need it to get every last drop. They needn't have bothered as I licked the plate.

Back in Melbourne for a visit, we definitely had to go eat at the Roule Galette again. Our meals were as fabulous as in the previous year. :-) Perfectly prepared galettes (= the savoury variety made with buckwheat) and crepes (= the sweet ones), friendly and prompt service, pleasant atmosphere. What a great little find. We visited here on our first night in Melbourne and absolutely loved the place! Gorgeous food, great atmosphere, good music and friendly staff. The Carbonara was the best Iâve ever tasted. We ate at the Banff on another 2 occasions on our short stay in Melbourne and each time it was equally as good.Great value for money too! Highly recommended

Breakfast at the Galleon was just fantastic. The porridge with fruit as worth it alone, but then I had to have the tofu scramble too, couldn't miss out on that--just great! Tea was very good and the atmosphere is friendly and the staff are attentive.

Once you find this place (in Grey Street) you enter a whole new world. Away from the funkiness of many other cafes, this is a gorgeous place to come and have a meal. Today I had the waffles - OMG they were amazing. And then served a coffee that the barissta should be given a gold medal. The staff were lovely and seemed to enjoy working at Miss Jackson. However, service can be slow. Takeaway available. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram/stroller accessible. Parking is okay.

I honestly though this was an active tram stop but it's a decommissioned one and I had to meet someone for a meeting so kept driving past. Service was great. Corn fritters were sensational and all very well priced considering the location. Coffee was sensational. It can be a bit tight but overall a real Melbourne experience. I love it.
