I went to this restaurant because of the glowing reviews on Yelp but I was sorely disappointed. I usually give a place at least a second try but I don't see a reason to do that here. It is a small, local place with next to no ambience and the food was very sub-par. The only good thing was my server, even though I never got the tortillas that were supposed to come with my meal. My machacado came over cooked, dried out and cold. The fried potato chunks had no seasoning and the beans were just so so. Prices are low here and it is popular with the locals. It may just have been an off day but life is too short for bad food.

Keno had been around since the 1930's. The original family decided they were unable to continue and closed. Everyone who loved Keno was heart broken so it was with great pleasure and anticipation that the news that it would reopen with the same menu. We ate there recently and it was quite good. My family loves the Chicken Fried Steak which was very good. I have my favorite place for my birthday. I love their Shrimp and will get a dozen, very large, for my birthday. The rolls are also a treat at Keno. Having eaten there since about 1976 we had never tried the Cinnamon Roll. Everyone should try it. It is huge. My wife and I had breakfast on twice. It seems expensive but because of the size its not. Go and enjoy the food .

Our first time experience was excellet and it gets better each time we go (Pharr Location). The staff explains each flavor and if you can't decide they give you a sample of flavors. My favorite is salty dog with green chamoy and green picklesMy mouth is watery as I make this review. Kids prefer going here rather than a regular raspa place...

Very friendly staff.Went thru drive thru.Chicken was VERY good. Impressed with taste, quality and texture.Fries were fair.Would have given better rating except had to drive back( and that area is a Hassel) to get rest of order. And they acted like oh well. Here it is.Otherwise they would have received better rating.We did not order anything special.
