Place your order, pay the bill and have a seat - your food will be brought to your table in about 2 minutes. It's billed as a "healthy eats" place and that's pretty much the case as there is no deep fried food served here. Several different sandwiches, salads and entrees are on the menu. Soft drinks and wine are available and we were told they would soon offer beer as well. We went for lunch and had the Lamb Gyro ($10) and Grilled Tilapia Sandwich ($9). Both came with potato chips and a side (fruit cup, pasta salad, rice, etc). Both sandwiches were good-sized and we left feeling full but not stuffed. Outdoor seating is available adjacent to the parking lot. I thought the fruit cup tasted like it had been sprayed with preservatives but everything else tasted fine. The food at Taziki's can't compare to some of the better Mediterranean restaurants in the area but for a fast lunch it's a good, healthy choice.Hi Bob!We are so glad you dined with us, and enjoyed your experience. This waffle house was surprisingly well kept (for the reputation that most waffle houses hold is not too great). The staff was very kind and prompt on making our food. The establishment seemed fairly clean, and there was really no complaints. The staff joked around and played with each-other, but didn't let that affect the quality of their food or service. I was very surprised and very satisfied to have such a good experience. I have loved waffle house since I was a little kid, and always think it's a shame when they aren't managed correctly.

First visit & last visit!Service was slow but food was very disappointing.Butter rum pancakes are absolutely gross.Vegetable omelette had very few veggies & no cheese Too many great places in Mason for breakfast for this place to survive. I'm sorry to hear that you had such a poor experience at our Cafe. Our service is usually top notch, so I too am disappointed that you did not receive the prompt, friendly service that every customer deserves. We do get mixed reviews on the Mango Butter Rum pancakes, as many people absolutely love them, but others think the syrup is too sweet. I always recommend to someone that has not tried them to request a sample first, which your server should have done, but we have established that your server was not on the ball that day. I also want to specifically apologize for the veggie omelette, as normally it has a plethora of veggies in it to ensure you get a good mix in every bite, but it seems our egg cook that day dropped the ball as well. That particular omelette gets goat cheese in it, which often mixes with the eggs when it melts, and since it's pale white in color, it blends in to where it looks like there is no cheese.Again, I don't blame you for not wanting to return after your experience, but should you change your mind, I assure you that next time you will not leave dissatisfied. Hands down the food quality was a five. Just be warned do not relight on s name. Pad thai is not close to traditional. On the otherhand it was awesome. And a very nice size portionThe home made soda was a zero.not drinkable.I liked the atmosphere. Then again I enjoy the company of others while sitting at long tables. The two biggest problems I see are it is way over priced for stand in line and order then grab your own drink. Wait for them to bring out your food. Not even so much as would you like a refill of your drink. Sure the answer would be get up off you butt and get it.
