Daily Grind is tucked away in the office building (The Pavilion) at Old York road and 73 (Township Line). Tons of beverage options - espresso, frappes, coffee, smoothies, and great lunch choices. The turkey mango sandwich is a well-known fan favorite. Staff is super friendly. Perfect coffee house atmosphere - very relaxed and inviting.

This is probably the best Whole Foods Market I've ever visited. There was a really friendly woman at a large wooden stand near the front sampling barbecue pulled jackfruit. I actually didn't do a full shop as I was only looking for vegan desserts. This store certainly didn't disappoint! They had the most unique vegan options for doughnuts (pumpkin glazed cinnamon filled) and muffins (chocolate chip pumpkin pecan) I've seen at any store! I didn't check out prepared foods bar but if it's anything like the bakery I'm sure there's lots of vegan selection. Only downside was it was really busy, but that's to be expected on a Saturday afternoon.

A friend and I visited The Real Marketplace in Wyncote on a Wednesday morning . We were immediately greeted by a cheerful staff member who explained how this cozy little place is organized: you can order from a menu while seated at one of four tables, you can order at the counter after looking at all the yummy pastries and breads and after selecting a coffee and then find a seat inside or outside OR you can make selections to go. The menu consists of build y our own breakfast sandwich options and premade sandwiches. We had egg scramble, a scrambled egg patty served in a small crock, covered with melted cheese and accompanied by a fresh salad. We each had an optional croissant on the side plus a delicious cup of coffee. The food was freshly prepared . One downside was that the egg got quite cold quite fast and probably would have stayed hotter if we had had it in a brioche bun as a sandwich . That said, there are a good number of choices for sandwich insides ( turkey, turkey bacon, veggies among them) and all of the breads are fresh ( including ciabatta roll, brioche bun, croissant, bagel) and you can select a cheese for the sandwich as well. The salad is a welcome addition. The entire restaurant/consignment shop/bakery is small but clean, airy and pleasant. We were not rushed, service was attentive and we lingered and chatted with our coffees well after the meal had been finished. What a pleasant way to spend a part of a morning. There is a train station nearby so you can get into center city, there is metered street parking and also a lot behind Real Marketplace. There are a few other businesses and shops nearby. Stop in!
