A long-overdue return visit, so many new dishes to choose from on a superb menu. Our meals were inventive, fresh, and delicious. Our welcome and service were friendly and very good (including great service from someone working their first day there). Cakes also irresistable and delicious. A lovely place to eat.

Came here for lunch with the family, all had paniniâs though very nice, they were a bit pricey for a panini and salad, £8.50 I thought was a bit much. I was also given a really dirty glass which was a bit gross.. no worries, I just drank out of the coke bottle instead. Service was average also.

Came across this place on our way back to London from Dartmoor - and so glad we did. This is one of those hidden gems... thank goodness that they had big signs on the roads as we would have missed it otherwise. A open and spacious cafe offering wonderful fresh food and cold and hot drinks - coffee is great. Excellent friendly service. All the dishes we had were delicious. Reasonably priced as well.

I've been here several times since it replaced the excellent 'F.East' cafe around a year ago (Now moved to the edge of town into bigger premises - still excellent, just a bit less convenient for people wandering round the shops in the town centre). The style is not dissimilar, offering great coffee and interesting meals in very cozy surroundings - the place has about 4 small sections, plus a little courtyard, proving a more intimate experience. I expect I will return many more times, whether for brunch, lunch or afternoon tea, as it is always a delightful experience.

What a welcome,great value for money cafe menu.Situated across from the old ham stone market Square in the centre of the town.Superb coffee and tea ,also milk shakes.A delicious breakfast that was quick to the table .Several visits now ,tired the rest and now sick to the best.Lunch and snacks also available that are fresh and delicious.Staff are friendly and helpful with great local Knowledge of the area.Decorated tastefully with local history prints.Whatâs not to love about the cafe square!
