What a beautiful cafe, ocean laps the steps at the front, amazing view as right on the ocean and the decor is fresh and relaxing and modern. We had a very nice cappuccino which as been just about impossible to obtain in Sri Lankan cafes. Donât be put off by the low amount of reviews and the bad ones. This place was fab and will certainly go there again. We had breakfast, the bread was so thick and yummy along with eggs, Dahl, fruit juice and tea. All tasted good, a little bit of a wait for service but worth it. Give it a go here you will be pleasantly surprised

MMs crepes is a hidden spot in Hikkaduwa. We were surprised when we entered. The crepes, juices, coffee and waffles are very tasty, the service is good and the people working their and the owner were friendly we had to comeback. Kids loved the coloring books and the little puppets available and I also did . I would definitely recommend the place Merci beaucoup!En effet, nous avons choisi de mettre à disposition des jeux et coloriages pour enfants et adultes afin que chacun puisse passer un agréable moment chez MMS CREPES.

Came across Gaamaâs place just after arriving in Hikkaduwa.Gaama was so friendly and funny we returned there every night of our holiday.The rottis were delicious whether savoury or sweet,especially the banana and honey.Highly recommend the drink âArackâ,goes down very easily,and Gaama made sure I never had an empty glass.All the family were lovely people,and of course superstar Billy Boy!This rotti house is well worth a visit and a lot of return visits!

Nordic House is located in the heart of Hikkaduwa. I went there many times last year and also this year for drinks and burgers. They really serve you the best burger in town! The staff is extremely friendly which I appreciated a lot.

We picked this place because they open early for breakfast and we're early risers. It looks a bit rough around the edges but we thought we'd give it a go. Thank goodness we did because the food was awesome and as I've never had curry for breakfast before so it was a lovely surprise. The potato curry, dahl curry and string hoppers were delicious and had to be eaten with fingers as no cutlery was offered. The owner was great and very attentive.We'll definitely eat here again as soon as we can

We popped in for some brunch as it is no1 in Hikkaduwa. The service by staff was great who didnât try and rush you, there was nice ambient music, and you are given unlimited free filtered water.I had poached eggs on a rice Dosa, as you can swap any bread to Dosa to avoid gluten, 550 rupee. We also had the banana bread which comes with passion fruit and pineapple jam which was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! 500 rupee.The seating arrangement is great, you can sit under shelter from the sun either int eh gardens or overlooking the beach.We will we back!
