Great homestyle cooking, friendly staff and good locally roasted coffee. Gluten free options on nearly all the meals as well as vegetarian and vegan options. I would recommend to anyone who likes rustic home cooked food or enjoys Scottish and Scottish inspired cuisine.

Delightful service, lovely giftware and fashion (I bought a lot!), the nicest coffee with a chocolate coated raisin (and weak black as requested), and then we stayed the night in the attached B&B that is also owned by Heathcote House. I was blown-away with how gorgeous the entire property is. A little bit of history, lovingly restored, and decorated with such flair. Gail and Paul were brilliant hosts, they kept the fire stoked, left us an amazing selection of continental breakfast treats, and we left feeling we'd made two new friends. Absolutely recommended!!!! Have a coffee and stay the night. It's beautiful.

Good cheese platter and a few glasses of local Sangiovese relaxing at a window table on a lovely mild Autumn day. Midweek day so very limited lunch offering. Quite nice ambience, sort of âCountry Livingâ meets designer general store. Friendly, helpful staff. Pretty nice outside space too. It was a stopover en route to the wineryâs of Nagambie and was perfect for that.

What a lovely shop to stop at for lunch! Sitting under the shady verandah or admiring the antiques in the beautiful shop provides a quaint atmosphere. Food is all homemade and freshly prepared. Meal sizes aren't huge, but ideal for lunch. Great quality and really delicious. Neither my 2 friends or I could fault our meals and the lemon tart is amazing! Staff are really friendly and make it all themselves, so it provides a real homely feel.

We enjoyed a tasty breakfast of savoury pancakes (whipped ricotta and bacon), and a chocolate granola (coconut yoghurt and raspberry coulis). Both were great, but the granola was absolutely delicious and more-ish. The floor staff were very attentive and courteous, and decor and atmosphere is also the best in all Heathcote. The soy latte was very good, but not so enamoured over the flat white and macchiato. Definitely the place the visit, and perhaps the only breakfast place with style, atmosphere and great food/coffee - all the right elements.

A bit off the beaten track but don't let this put you off. Once there you realise the beauty of the property and its surrounds. Could just imagine this property after a decent wet season. Made very welcome by Lyndal the restaurant, which seats approximately 30, is very well appointed and the views are lovely. Fresh local produce is the name of the game and everything is just superb, lovely fresh salads and great meat dishes. This restaurant is well priced and the drink list is dominated by local brews and wines. Oh yes, the lemon tart was superb. Plenty of parking but you will need to book . Location wise easy to find and about 10 minutes from Heathcote. Small shop items are enticing. Highly recommend.
