We have been coming here for a long time and enjoyed coming but the decline in standards has forced us to give up on going again the new owners are trying their best and the girls working in caf are great but its being let down by issues with food.. ages waiting.. food orders wrong.. and quality.. not helped by unprofessional attitude from certain staff sadly we have been forced to give up on this club house and wont be returning..LOCAL REGULARSHi Mr & Mrs Bell. I am devastated to hear of your disappointment. I know you have been regulars and we are grateful for your ongoing loyalty. Mark & Rachel would like to opportunity to iron out your concerns as would I. Admittedly we have made lots of changes and these have been for the right reasons. We would like to understand where you feel the problem has been so would love to sit down with you soon if you would accept our invitation to chat. Kerry

Just needed a quick bite to eat. Had jacket potato which was delicious and came with a side of lettuce, tomato & cucumber. Nice & plain just the way I like salad. The only downside was that the door is open which meant I had to keep my coat on. I was very satisfied with my visit.
I had a lovely oven baked jacket potato here last week really crispy skin and fluffy centre loads of topping. My daughter had a great sandwich lovely fresh bread again loads of filling and free salad. The cakes are gorgeous! The shop is lovely and clean and nice to see they have a 5 star hygiene rating from the council. Very impressed.

Cafe serving freshly brewed coffee. Open for breakfast, lunch & afternoon tea using quality local ingredients.
My friends and I have visited regularly for a few years, one friend in particular and I have visited every Friday for coffee. I don't think we will be doing so again.Over the last few months the service has deterioated from being friendly and very pleasant to almost rude and surly, we have continued going there despite this although wondering what the reason could be.The last couple of times my cafetiere of coffee has been ridiculously weak. The first time I said nothing, but today I complained. I was offered a replacement which I accepted but was charged for two coffees and when I objected that one had been a replacement for the unsatisfactory coffee the waiter was rude to me and insisted that both were paid for. This really isn't how you treat customers especially long standing regular customers.I don't think I will be patronising this cafe againThank you for your review - I have already responded to your email apologising for what was a misunderstanding- you have told us on numerous occasions that our cafeteria was way to strong & asked for extra hot water & milk. The cafeteria has since been catered to your taste. I would have appreciated if you had asked to speak a manger rather than going away unhappy. Please check your e-mail for our apology.

Came across this cafe whilst visiting Frodsham (a nice market town) with my wife. We were both pleasantly surprised with the good menu choice. We had open toasted sandwiches and home made scones - both were delicious. The cafetiere coffee was excellent as well. We nearly didn't go in as the "smallish" room was full but one of the locals told us that there was a conservatory area down a small passage and - if the weather is fine - further tables in a garden area. They are missing trade by not advertising this better.Definitely on our "return to" list.

Vintage Tearoom with freshly made sandwiches and home made scones and cakes, and some savories, pork pie with chutneys and pickles. All served on bone china. Staff in vintage dresses and we play vintage music. Very unique.
What a place, quaint, pretty and super friendly with the most beautiful cakes and tea. Wonderful service with smiles all round. A must visit if you are within 10 miles. We will be back.Thank you for a lovely experience. Thank you very much for your amazing comments, and we look forward to seeing you again. Thanks again kind regards julie

The Willow tree Cafe at Gleave's Garden Centre in Frodsham is a delightful little place that still believes in homemade food, using local suppliers, fresh ground coffee, family values and that a smile and a piece of cake will solve most problems. Speciali
We stopped here for a cuppa and cake. They did peppermint tea and hubby had a hot chocolate, we also had a slice of lemon drizzle cake - which for the price was small but it was lovely. Overall we payed more or less £10, yet in Chester we paid £8 for 2 hot drinks & a large Danish pastry. Too expensive, we should've stopped in Frodsham again cheaper! Won't be back.
