Having friends who work nearby I have eaten here quite a few times and always enjoy it!They seem to be a small family owned business, but they do a great job with their food!My favourites for lunch are the chilli chicken burger or a chicken, cheese avocado melt, though I have also enjoyed several of the wraps.The specials board is also always worth a look, on a recent visit I had a chicken burger with this beautiful tomato chilli jam which I throughly enjoyed!The only negative I have seen is that sometimes service can be a little slow, there is only one chef and if there is a lot of people it can mean you will wait a little while. It's never worried me too much though as it gives you the opportunity to sit and catch up with the people you are with.Will definitely be returning next time I'm in the area.

Had a nice take-away lunch here. There's lots to choose from and pricing is good. There's a nice seating area also if you want to sit down and people watch.The staff are friendly when they get around to serving you, which may take a few minutes.

We stopped in the cafe on a rainy morning as we were leaving the caravan park and were amazed at the service, the quality of the food and the best latte's we had during our entire stay. Well done guys and thanks.

Stopped in here for lunch whilst boating. Pulled up on their wharf and tied up. Small wharf so check first. Seafood platter was fantastic. Fresh oysters, prawns, lemon peppered squid and beautiful fish fillets. Great staff who were all friendly and polite. Great place for lunch. Very reasonable prices as Seafood platter was only $28.

My wife and I were seated promptly but waited an age for breakfast. It was busy but not that busy, and when a couple who were seated 5 minutes after we'd ordered were served their breakfast 10 minutes before we got ours, there's clearly a scheduling problem in this place when the place is half full.After a 15 minutes wait we finally did get breakfast. I make a damn good poached egg and have been served quite a few at restaurants and cafes in my time but have never been served poached eggs that resembled shelled hard boiled eggs. I sent them back and within 5 minutes new eggs were brought out. Still not right but at least a marginal improvement on the first effort.My wife had 2 slices of buttered toast, 2 fried eggs and 2 slices of bacon and an iced coffee. I had 2 slices of buttered toast, 2 poached eggs and a sausage. The total was $34. Not good value at all given the fact other later arrivals got breakfast before us, the long wait for the food and the laughable poached eggs. It's little wonder that each Christmas we come to Forster half the cafes and restaurants are either empty with for lease signs in the window or have new names and owners.

Very friendly and happy customer service. Coffee was excellent. Did not stop to eat as we had already eaten but enjoyed the view whilst enjoying the coffee. Coffee was served in real size mugs, a pleasant and satisfying change to the norm. Loved it and will return.

Its only a tiny shop that you could easily miss with outdoor seating only. A good selection of drinks and healthy snacks including many gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. Some prices are a little steep, but the coffee is delicious and somewhere I'd go back to.

We tried this place after reading some very good reviews in Tripadvisor. We arrived for brunch about 10am. There were a lot of people in the cafe. Busy. we found the only vacant table and looked through the menu. It covers most appetites. We chose Sauteed Mushrooms and Eggs Benedict with bacon. Price with 2 large coffees $45. Our coffee arrived within 5 minutes and our meals within 10 minutes of ordering. We were impressed. The meals looked great atop toasted sour dough drizzled with garlic olive oil. The eggs were perfect, the meals were not too large, just right. The flavours combined well including the grilled haloumi which I have never experienced before. We enjoyed our dishes and thought will we be back - absolutely

I was taken to lunch by my financial advisor. I had grilled flathead with salad for $19.90. The fish was dry and the salad was greens, carrot and cucumber. Tasteless. The service was fine and it's a great location. But the food was terrible and overpriced for lunch. I'm a local so sadly won't be going back

Have been frequenting this popular café on the water's edge for years. Breakfast, lunch or a refreshment of any sort.... Perfect for lunch...inside or on a deck. Always something to enjoy as there is a lot happening on the lake. A menu for all tastes...with fish, prawns, salads being popular. There is also a specials board. Order at the counter. Meals delivered. Nothing is a problem for the ever helpful staff. On a sunny day, blinds assist.... but the view is still there. Or if it is cooler, other blinds protect you from breezes. The garlic bread it as always been a great start...other faves the panko prawns, the fish....and the Caesar Salad...with salmon. Ingredients always fresh. This is a favourite place for many....couples..or groups. Parking is sometimes a trick...A small walk may be needed at times. After you have had your meal or coffee, rent a boat and go for a cruise around the lake. One of the best in town. Wish it was open for dinner.
