Not been to Ashby for more than 20 years. Parked outside the Leisure Centre and this was the first little café we came across heading into town. Very pleasant and clean. We sat outside due to the lovely warm weather. We only ordered drinks. Staff friendly and polite. We walked past later heading to purchase another car-park ticket and it was extremely busy and the lunches looked very nice with ample servings.Thank you for your kind review. We think you made the right choice calling in at our place.

A first here for afternoon tea with friends. Very enjoyable with a nice selection of sandwiches and cakes. Service was prompt and friendly. They were only too happy to provide refills of tea and coffee. Scones in particular were very light ! It was a very warm afternoon and sitting near the window proved hugely hot and the window didnât really open much but that was the only negative and I would certainly return.

The WORST food and customer service i have ever had.The food was thrown into a box (belly buster) and could have been thrown around - dreadful.We asked for toast, we recieved bread and butter.The double cheese burger had one and a half pieces of black bacon! The chips were soggy and cold, unfortunately the food was awful it was practically inedible.The drinks were also covered with loose foil and they were cold.I called the shop, they said they wpuld send a refund.Refund came - partial. They didnt refund delievery or service charge (which considering the food was late and awful it should have been refunded.) They also didnt refund my cappochino even though i told them the drinks were cold.When i called them they refused to send out the rest of the refund because i only said the food was bad not the drinks (which they lied as i certainly did mention the drinks)They where extremely rude and passed the phone around. The lady i spoke too suggested i was lying as she made the drinks and that if im not happy i should cook and make my own food, she then slammed the phone down.I kept trying to call back so i could talk to a manager but everytime they answered they pretended to be unable to hear me or that they were 'pops pizza'. They then left the phone off the hook.This place has no customer service & terrible food. I wouldn't recommend to anyone even if they were desprate.

WE came upon this garden centre and cafe as the cafe we were going to go to was closed . what a lucky find. The plants looked good in the garden centre but we were just looking for a place to eat. We could not have found better. Fantastic choice from sandwiches to meals. Fair prices. Friendly staff. Plenty of tables even though a Bank holiday, which were cleared promptly. Our food was excellent and well served, will visit again when in the areaThank you for taking time to review our restaurant. We are pleased you enjoyed your visit and we look forward to being of service to you again in the future.

My first visit today, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a delightful menu available featuring some wondrous options.The staff were really friendly and helpful too, which is always a must in my opinion.The reason for deducting a star form a full house, is because the cafe is quite small and you get all the smells from the kitchen.

Can never fault this place for great food, good service and a relaxing ambience. Every time myself or my wife visit here it's always wonderful. The setting is cosy and quiet but still only yards from the town centre. Staff always make a place and this is a perfect example with cheery polite folk who will help in any way if required with variations on the menu.Dear Lewis, Thank you so much for this fantastic review.
