Had a lunch with my wife. Ordered a banana smoothie and the Danes sandwich. Smoothie was ok, but did not have any wow factor. 6,5$ was also a bit pricy for an average product. The sandwich was good. A lot of great stuff on which you can not get elsewhere in Brunei. Nice staff, and cosy atmosphere. Have been here several times and is worth a visit if you fancy pork.

Quirky menu, friendly staff and nice surroundings all combine to give a great place to eat. We enjoyed Patatas bravas, the shakshuka and mamaâs beef garlic fried rice with a matcha brownie to follow. Delicious. Very busy when we were there so come early! Recommended.

Went with my daughter for tea time last week. Atmosphere was nice and cozy. Many varieties of traditional cakes and food. We asked them for recommendation of the taste as the cakes are all colorful and look similar. Cakes are served in small slices but even though we only had 3 slices with our tea, we felt full as the cakes are rich in ingredients. Will recommend for tourist.

Came here for pre-dinner and drinks.Water served tasted of chlorine, waitress claimed it is purified water, I guess they need to change their water filter. Glass needs better cleaning (feels greasy). We had the pumpkin beetroot salad, but was served a pile of lettuce topped with few slices of over charred pumpkin and few cubes of beetroot. Sauce was unidentifiable, murky, garlicky and generally unappealing and did not go well as a whole.I am sure there are other decent items on the menu but unfortunately for us we only had the salad (not sure why it belongs in the menu in the first place).The great things about this visit that would make us come back; ambience and friendliness of the staff.Hi Jian Cheng,We're so sorry to hear that you had such an unpleasant experience at our cafe. Great place to have a nice cold drink, perfect excuse to stop for a break if driving long distance from BSB to KB or Miri, or vice versa. Spoilt for choice with an extensive menu; thereâs a drink suitable for all ages and for any mood. No other place like it! Canât decide which one is my favourite just yet, wanna try them all first!

The best food i ate in Brunei. Thr caesar salad was huge and tasted fresh. I also ordered french fries which the serving was large and cooked well. The waffles were the highlight! Fresh strawberries with cream was the perfect finish to dinner.

The Alter Ego Fusion café is a modern fusion restaurant that serves modern Asian food with Western elements. The food here was absolutely healthy and delicious. The presentations are master creations and reflect how creative they are with their preparations. I had the Roasted Chicken Grain, that had tender pieces of chicken on a bed of Quinoa, it was simply lip smacking ! Their Chocolate Brownie is a sure not to miss when you are here.

I visited one Friday morning with a friend for a coffee which became a juice and a delicious cooked breakfast. We just couldn't say no to the menu. My friend ordered the Salmon Fish Cakes while I had the Eggs Florentine. Both meals arrived at the same time and from first look they were very ample servings. We munched our way through both meals very happily and enjoyed our freshly squeezed juices. After enjoying breakfast at a reasonable price for western food in Brunei, we headed upstairs to checkout the fashion that is under the same label "Rack n Brew". They are a smaller size as they cater to the asian demographic, but there are some suprises as they do keep other sizes for their items hanging on the racks.I will be back for my tasty food and to get some retail therapy from the clothes upstairs.

Most of their brunch and dinner meals are really well-executed and delicious. They serve my favourite Chicken Waffles (Pumpkin Waffles with Cajun Chicken) which is astoundingly delicious!! Their Lamb Shank and Herbed Butter Sirloin Steak were also really yummy! Plus, their Double Chocolate Cake tasted very rich and creamy. I highly recommend this cafe for good-quality food. However, their meals can be pricey, but in my opinion, it's quite worth it, for a once in a while 'splurge'.
