Fab little cafe . A must visit . Just sit out side take in the view and watch the world go by . Very friendly owner and children more than welcome. Try one of there amazing toasty. Great location great prices .

We stayed next door to this place, with the breakfast being well known and a draw for the little cafe. However, I picked the bifana (pork sandwich) and the pastel de nata (custard tart) and both were excellent. The lady was clearly and rightly proud of both!Friendly, family run place and worth visiting.

We love this little gem of a place and often stop for a quick lunch. Good food and pleasant staff. Prices are pretty decent too. A quirky little place situated perfect for people watching.

Was apprehensive eating here as thought it would be a typical tourist trap place given its location. Ended up being quite good. Had the grilled prawns. Was expecting a larger portion but nevertheless tasty. Would have loved to soaked up the oil with some bread but I am getting grossly obese so had to cut it out. Shared a golden bream (I think). Nice but a bit too salty. Glass of wine is cheap but had a bit of a headache later. Waiter seemed horrible but his delivery was superb. I didnât tip him though because he came across as a âsee you next Tuesdayâ. Great for sunset view.

I'm astonished this place is getting five star reviews. Went in about 12.10pm fancying some breakfast, it is holidays after all. Spot full English on the menu, that'll do for me. Now I ask out of politeness "are you still serving breakfast?" As basically everywhere else in Alvor does. "I'll ask her will she cook it but I doubt it" says Mr Happy. He comes back "No!" Says he. Fair enough I ordered something else. There was about 10 customers in the place and he stormed about as if he was under severe pressure. Plenty of other pleasant welcoming places to have breakfast or lunch in Alvor. I know why I walked past this place all these years now. Lighten up my friend.

Probably should have read reviews first but having eaten there a couple of years ago thought a breakfast would be ok, I had to send it back because it had clearly been standing in warm plates that wasnât switched on, consequently the food was stone cold on its return I felt most of it had been microwaved .... very disappointed!! In addition I was quite surprised to find French people eating there as I thought they new a thing or two about food.

We were several groups of friends,from N Ireland ,who visited this little cafe on a few occasions over last weekend.Some of the guys weren't satisfied with the continental breakfast served in our hotel and called in here for something more substantial after a few nights out.Good selection of British/Irish breakfasts, filled sodas, French toast and lighter choices etc. Good tea and coffee and basically does what it says on the tin. Very nice staff.Will appeal to a UK and Irish clientele but anyone should give it a go.
